Munnar day trip

A great day. There was a lot of driving but this was expected and is clearly noted. Kerala farm was interesting and so was the tea museum. It’s possibly expensive once you are in India and know the cost of things. It would be good to go into a working farm as a part of the trip. Overall would recommend.

Great one day trip to Munnar

Our driver and guide Mibin picked us up very early in the morning at our hostel in Fort Kochi. On the way to Munnar he explained a lot of things we passed and offered to stop to take pictures or do some activities. Regarding the meals he was very flexible and offered to have breakfast and lunch whenever we were hungry. The area of Munnar is too big, far and beautiful for one day but if you don’t have more time I highly recommend this tour! The spice garden was very interesting and the tea plantations are just stunning. Mibin knows a lot and is happy to explain everything! He even offered to take pictures of us. We really enjoyed the tour with him.

Even he wasn’t a tour guide but made up for it with his exceptional driving, patience, kindness, and politeness, ensuring my safety and comfort throughout. Day Trip to Munnar from Kochi

Biju tours assigned Abhi as my driver. For a 4-5 hour each way drive from Kochi to Munnar, Abhi is a very nice, considerate and flexible driver. He plays music to elevate the mood. He knows what to point out. If there's something you don't like, he will give you other nearby options. For example the tea museum didn't interest me at all, but the tea garden/plantation did. The rose garden, elephant park, and zip line are other options if there's time for it. The spice farm people were nice and knowledgeable, but it was a little underwhelming if you're someone who is familiar with herbs, spices and holistic alternative treatments and supplements. Not much to see visually. It is informative and you can buy aromatherapy oils and supplements. I had terrible motion sickness from the bad traffic, and Abhi let me lie in the back with small pillows. He also took another route back so that I wouldn't have to deal with it longer than necessary. He really tries to make sure you're comfortable. Breakfast/Lunch and Entrance fees are NOT included.

The tour takes you to amazing places. Munnar is really beautiful! If you're short on time, this is a great way to experience this beautiful place in one day! Abhi was a great driver and guide - stopped at places with great views, also not so known once, adapted to my wishes and even took photos! I'd definitely recommend this :)
