Tour operators don’t know the meaning of customer service. Tried to change our hotel pick up and the woman on the phone gave serious attitude and said we’d have to be picked up an hour earlier as it was far out of the way (it was 10 min drive, 40 min walk from the original hotel).. we were picked up at the earlier time and then left waiting at the pier for 1 hour and 40 minutes before our boat left.
On the return, they put us in a taxi with people that were 30 minutes past our hotel, drove straight past our hotel to proceed to drop the other group off resulting in taking us an hour out of the way when they could have just dropped us off first. It wouldn’t surprise me if the woman from the phone call gave these order’s deliberately as when we asked the driver, he said he’d been told to drop the other group off first.
After he dropped the other group off and went to start the 30 minute journey back to our hotel, the driver reversed into a cab smashing the window and so we had to wait around for him to deal with insurance. After a further 30 minutes of waiting we decided not to waste anymore of our holiday and got a taxi back out of our own pocket. I messaged the tour providers about this and received no response.
Disgraceful service and really dampened the end of our holiday.

Very crowded, so much trash on the beach, puddles of pig pee and pig poop everywhere. Too many people smoking & vaping in the crowd. Piggies seemed harassed by crowds. Our boat was too crowded as well. Lunch was ok.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! None to tell as Viator took my money and then didn’t bother turning up for trip!!! To add insult to injury they will not refund my money and take no responsibility for this happening!

Na, ja. The hype around Pig Island makes it into more than what it really is: a busy trashy island with some farmyard critters strolling underfoot. Kids will like it but I found the visit a so so way to pass the time in the shade. It's also got dogs (beware where you step) and chickens. I guess the operation has decided to diversify ;-) Personally, for savvy travellers or those trying to get in all the sights? I'd skip this tour unless snorkeling the dead coral or walking the dirty beach is your idea of a good time. Price was okay, Boat was fine.
Pig Island is definitely overrated, and we were there on a 'quieter' day.

Leider hat die Abholung von TUI MeinSchiff nicht geklappt und wir mussten ziemlich lange mit dem Taxi zu einem Treffpunkt fahren. Das war sehr stressig.
Das Korallenriff war tot und es hat niemanden interessiert, dass die Touries auf den noch lebenden Korallen herumgetrampelt sind.
Viele der Schweine waren schwer verletzt, hatten Tumore und andere Krankheiten.
Mein Mann und ich sind seit dem Ausflug an einem Magen-Darm-Virus erkrankt und haben Isolation in unserer Kabine. Sehr unschön.
Einzig unser Reiseleiter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Man wird pünktlich mit einem Minivan vom Hotel abgeholt und zu einem Sammelplatz gefahren. Von dort aus startet man mit dem Speedboat Richtung einer kleinen Nachbarinsel (Fahrzeit 10min). Hier hält man etwas vor der Küste im Wasser und bekommt etwas Zeit zum Schnorcheln. Das Riff ist leider schon sehr kaputt, die Guides bleiben im Boot und die Schnorchelausrüstung war dreckig und die Brillen haben stark beschlagen. Hier wäre es besser sein eigenes Schnorchelset mitzunehmen. Das kleine Speedboat, in dem man sehr eng nebeneinander gequetscht saß, schaukelte zudem stark und man freute sich nach weiteren 5-minütigen Fahrt endlich die Pig Island mit festem Boden unter den Füßen zu erreichen.
Die Pig Island hält was sie verspricht: Viele Schweine und sogar Hundewelpen, die man alle streicheln und mit für sie vorgesehenem Fressen füttern darf. Man hatte zudem genügend Zeit auf der Insel zu Relaxen, zu Baden und das Kayaking auszuprobieren. Das Mittagsbuffet war sehr gut und auch für Vegetarier war genügend dabei. Hinterher gab es zusätzlich noch etwas frisches Obst.
Die Fahrt zurück erfolgte ohne Zwischenstopp und brauchte knapp 10min. Angekommen wurden alle Gäste auf die Minivans verteilt und zu den Hotels zurück gefahren.

Varkens op het eiland waren erg leuk maar snorkelen op eilandjes was niet echt te doen water was niet helder

Très belles excursion et bien organisé. Sauf le chauffeur qui est venu nous récupérer et redéposer qui n'etais pas du tout aimable!!! Nous etions 3 dans le van, lors du depot à l'hôtel, l'autre personne dans le van a oublié une serviette et une bouteille en verre. Le chauffeur s'en est rendu compte lors de notre retour à notre hôtel, il s'est énervé et a jetté la bouteille devant notre hôtel (Mantra Samui) dans la nature !!! Nous avons tenter en vain de la récupérer.... pas de bonjour ni au-revoir etc...
Hors ceci, l'excursion etait vraiment trės sympas, nous avons adoré l'île !

Das Wasser beim Schnorchel war unklar und überfüllt mit Touristen. Die Schweineinsel hatte nur um die 10 Schweine welche kaum am Wasser sind. Das Personal war freundlich und konnte gut Englisch sprechen.
