Snorkel Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park on a full-day tour from Kota Kinabalu that features three different snorkeling locations within the protected area. Well-suited to both first-time snorkelers or more experienced travelers, this tour offers the security of a PADI professional guide to accompany your small group; provided snorkel, mask, and fins take care of essential gear, with optional wet suit and life jacket also available for use.

My daughter and I had a lovely day with the folks from the tour company. Baas was a superb guide and gave us tons of information about the marine life in the area. The snorkelling experience was super fun and we got to see a. Octopus, a couple of black tipped reef sharks and sea turtles as well. The coral reefs are not in the best of shape in my view and thus could be the result of over fishing, pollution and climate change. Takes nothing away from the beauty of the place though. Highly recommended for anyone!

A fantastic day in the ocean

My daughter and I had a lovely day with the folks from the tour company. Baas was a superb guide and gave us tons of information about the marine life in the area. The snorkelling experience was super fun and we got to see a. Octopus, a couple of black tipped reef sharks and sea turtles as well. The coral reefs are not in the best of shape in my view and thus could be the result of over fishing, pollution and climate change. Takes nothing away from the beauty of the place though. Highly recommended for anyone!

This was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. I am a nervous swimmer and was a bit overwhelmed when I entered the water. But the divers with me were exceptional - so calm and composed, helping me with a smile while I was going bonkers 😪 I was alone in the group but the divers checked on me regularly and the other guests were super sweet. After the initial fear, once you put your head in the water - you are literally in another world. Colourful fishes dashing around you, corals just dancing in the water. I have seen fishes in all colours in one dip. Unreal!!! We don't deserve this beauty🥲

We did three different stops, snorkeling for 45 minutes plus at each place. Our guide, Dee Dee was great, helpful, fun and cute. The whole crew was helpful. We saw beautiful fish and coral, a shark, some turtles, a stingray and blue starfish and more.

Didi was welcoming and attentive. We went to two spots before lunch and saw a black-tipped shark and so many kinds of fish, and we swam with a beautiful sea turtle. After a nice lunch, we went to one more spot and felt like we were members of a school of damsel fish. A great day. Recommend this trip.
Turtles, sharks and Nemo land

Well organised day trip, we have seen turtles, sharks and a lot of nice coloured fish including Nemo fishes. Delicious lunch on the island as well ! Do not forget t-shirt or ask for wet suit, to avoid getting sunburned !!!

THIS EXPERIENCE IS AMAZING!!!! You get to snorkel in 3 different locations over the day (from 9am to 3pm). I saw so many different sea life. Our guide Jimmy was experienced and knowledgeable and really helpful to the weaker / no swimmers in our group.

I think this is the best organized trip I took while in Borneo. The guides were obviously experienced, plenty of fun, and took good care of us. We didn’t see anything but a glimpse of a shark, but Amir did his best to try to find us one regardless.

Jimmy was our snorkel guide and was wonderful. He showed us so many wonderful fish and beautiful coral reefs. We were in a group of 6 and he looked out for everyone. We saw multiple anemone fish, Neón damsels, Angel fish, giant puffer fish, and more. But the highlight was following a hawksbill turtle. One in our group saw a black finned shark. Wonderful day with the 3 reefs we visited. The boat was nice and provided lots of water to refill your water bottle. My only wish is that the locals didn’t throw trash into the ocean. The captain navigated us to spots where there was no trash for us to snorkel. Lunch was great.

The best part was the staff. Very friendly and always pending of our needs. When we were snorkeling, the guide was always aware of our surroundings. The food was great and the boat in good condition. I highly recommend this tour.

By far one of the best snorkeling experience I had! We went to 3 different spots and all of them are amazing! Lots of different and colors fishes, and off course many Nemo’s! Just missed out the sharks… team is also super nice! Very friendly! You will have a wonderful time! Certainly a must do in KK

Fabulous! Most of us were first time snorkellers and it was all made so easy! We had a busy and thoroughly enjoyable day. The process was professional, due attention to safety given - I was especially thankful for easy ladder access between the boat and sea. Our instructor Amir was excellent and watchful. We were taken to several different spots with varied seabeds. What a simply marvellous experience - do it !

We had a lovely day snorkeling. We saw many great sea creatures including a sea turtle, several small black-tipped reef sharks, a giant clam, a stingray, and tons of fish and coral. Our guides were wonderful and they pointed out lots of wildlife to us. Overall it was a great day... Three snorkel sessions of 45-60 minutes, a nice boat ride, and a tasty lunch at a beach on one of the islands (about 20 options of hot meals to choose from).

The staff were so lovely and friendly during our trip with amazing English. The food during our lunch trip was really nice and we were able to see eels, turtle, barracuda, clown fish and many more sea creatures during our snorkleing.

No negatives on this trip except us messing up with not hiring the Go-Pro (would definitely recommend if you don’t have something similar to use yourself). Great hire of the equipment and tour team that are with you all day. The food at the island is good with a larger selection to choose from that any of the other trips we did on this holiday. The best time!!!

Amazing staff and experience. Great environment and nature. A lot to see under the water. Average food for lunch. However 60euros to go snorkeling is the highest price I ever paid and it was not outstanding. I would not recommend it to a friend. We all understand that it has been tough after covid, but prices for activities in kota kinabalu are insane.
