Fantastic Tour!

We had the best time yesterday! Our tour guide, Eda, was not only incredibly knowledgeable but very helpful to assure we saw everything we wanted. Eda enjoys her work and made our experience perfect. From start to finish we had a wonderful tour. We highly recommend this company and staff.

Amazing tour guide, car and service. There is no pressure, but it is clear that they would like to bring you to a ceramic or carpet shop to earn kickbacks. Just tell them in advance that you are not interested!

Our guide Lori was amazing! She was knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us so much history of Ephesus and Turkey and allowed us to Taylor the day how we wanted. Our van was comfortable and clean as well.

We really enjoyed our tour with Steve. Both Steve and our driver were very accommodating to our needs. Ephasus was beyond what I expected to see. Appreciated Steve’s synopsis of what we were seeing and his explanations of what life would have looked like in the prime of the city. I do wish we could have gotten more of the biblical history as well, but that’s more on me for not choosing a Bible based tour. The place we stopped for lunch was soooo good. We were fascinated by the skilled carpet makers. As others have said, it is an opportunity for them to try to sell you a Turkish rug, however, if you just aren’t interested tell them and they will not push a lot. St John’s Basilica again would have been more informative with a Bible based tour but we did enjoy the basic history and Steve’s personal stories of growing up in the area. The handmade porcelains were stunning and it was very interesting to learn about the moon rock they paint with. Again, it’s an opportunity for a sales pitch, but a polite decline and we were on our way. Overall we were very pleased with our tour.

From start to finish the tour was excellent. Identification at the port was great, pick up immediate.Vehicle immaculate. Our guide ,Ecrument and Filiz the driver were superb.Ecrument was clear,informative and interesting.Nothing was too much trouble.His English was excellent and his knowledge extensive. Our trip to Ephesus was memorable and he did not rush us. A definite success . We always felt safe and comfortable with Filiz driving

Fun day in Turkey

We had a great day in Turkey. Hakan was our guide. He was very kind and made our day really fun. Ephesus was very cool to visit. We bought the skip the line tickets but in March and April it isn’t necessary as there is no line. Our tour guide showed us how much the tickets for Ephesus cost ($40 euros each) and then he bought the tickets rather than us using our credit card. At the end of the tour he told us we needed cash to pay for the Ephesus tickets. Because of this we had to take cash out of the ATM to pay for the tickets. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CASH or you’ll pay a high fee at the ATM. For us it cost us another $30 in fees. This was the only thing that frustrated us about the tour. We should have been told upfront to have cash ready. We did enjoy a tasty lunch on the tour (extra cost also) and stopped at a rug making factory and ceramic making business where they try to sell you also. It was fun having the tour private just for our family.

We were picked up promptly by our guide, Hakan. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to all our wants and needs. The tour was fantastic and lunch was a delicious treat. I would rate this as one of the highlights of our vacation. Well worth the money.

Ephesus is nice but can skip the rest!

For our private Ephesus Port tour we have Yasin for our driver and Melis for our tour guide. We got picked up promptly at the port. The car was very comfortable and the ride was smooth. It’s good we don’t have to line up for Ephesus. The entrance fee for the House of Mary is 12 € per person. We lined up 10-15 minutes and you walked through the house in 2 minutes. The Temple of Artemis is just one column. The rest has been destroyed by flood. As for the tour itself it was just average. The highlight of the tour is just Ephesus. Melis is very nice and friendly but sometimes I have difficulty understanding her and it’s very distracting when she kept greeting her colleagues. She brought us to have lunch at a rug weaving place which is a tourist trap! Although we said we are not interested in attending the presentation, we felt pressure to do it. Afterwards we have to refuse to look at their samples as I’m sure they will try to make sales. So tourists beware!

Amazing tour! Our tour guide, Kaya was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. This tour included a visit to the house of St Mary. Ephesus should not be missed. A chance to walk the streets and view the buildings of two thousand years ago is awesome!

Banu was one of the BEST guides we have ever had, She was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She also made sure we only went to sites we really wanted to see. On top of that, she went over the allotted time and took us to a local lunch place that was really good!!

What an amazing day in Turkey! We had the best guide,Tamer, he was so knowledgeable and really gave us a good visual of the times back then. We then went for an authentic turkish lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Ephesus was beautiful and having a private guide made it that much better. Definitely recommend this company and we will be booking with them in the future when we come back Turkey🤗
