The scenery around Lake Titicana was great and the organisation likewise, but a very long travel day from La Paz. The guided tours around Copacabana and Isola del Sol were limited. Staff very friendly. Just about value for money, but felt that we were really just supporting the bus company' s Bolivia to Peru transfers for the pack-backers.

Taking a passenger boat ferry, while the tour bus was on a separate ferry - very comical. A lot packed into one day, but well worth it. La Paz hotel pickups are limited...., tour caters to the hostels.

There is nothing good about this trip except seeing Isle del Sol. You spend almost 9-10 hours in an old bus and 2 hours of round trip on a horrible boat smelling exhaust smoke. It’s certainly not worth it. The worst daily tour we ever have taken.

A great hike on the Isla del Sol, but the bus ride was rickety and the pickup was an hour late. While I would love to say that this is a must do trip, I am not able to do so. That said, seeing Lake Titicaca was on my bucket list and the price was worth it.

The hotel pick was very well organized. But picking and dropping so many people is disadvantageous at the same time; the kick start and end of tour adds time. The tour is very scenic and Rodrigo is an excellent guide. Food choice in Copacabana is not much. They went out of their way to organize hotel drop off for some tourists because roads were shut down on account of Xmas markets.

It was far too long, because the guide was trying to do 3 different tours at the same time. We had to wait and wait and wait everywhere. Everyone was so tired on the way back to La Paz but he made us stand in the cold for more than 30 minutes waiting for the bus, we arrived in La Paz at 10.45 pm and suddenly he tells us that some of us had to get off the bus and go in taxis. Well I am a female travelling alone and I don’t want to get into an unknown taxi at 10.45 pm. Then he says he will pay for the taxi. I don’t need payment. I need my safety first. Finally he droppped me in an alley way and told me to go straight and the hotel would be there. Now it was 11.46pm. I went straight and there was no hotel. Finally I had to ask a couple passing by and they took me and left me at the hotel. What sort of service is that. I had only arrived in La Paz that morning, so what impression do you think I have of the people here.
