The visit to Pont du Hoc was incredible. I had always wanted to see the cliffs ascended by the Army Rangers on D Day. Seeing the American Cemetery was extremely moving especially seeing the Medal of Honor graves. Our driver Thierry was waiting for us in Le Havre when we got off the ship. Olivier provided a lot of new information about D Day that I was not aware of from previous reading especially details regarding Pont du Hoc. On the way back to the ship Thierry took us on a fabulous drive around Le Havre.

It was an interesting day. I thought the price was plenty high, but I booked it short notice and everything worked out, so I can't complain.

Omaha Beach and American Cemetery. Our guide was very educated on D-Day and was able to share some local flavor about France and how his country was impacted by the war.

The tour of Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery was fantastic! Our guide, Adrian was highly knowledgeable and did an incredible job. I highly recommend booking this tour through Viator and requesting Adrian!!

My Grandfather and all 3 of his brothers were WW2 veterans. I am a history buff so this was a bucket list item. It was very moving and quite overwhelming to visit the American Cemetery and Omaha Beach museum. Our driver Paquel, also suggested Point du Hoc where were able to see the German bunkers and the cliffs the Army Rangers scaled to take out the those
German forces protecting the troops landing on Omaha and Utah beach. Pasquel was great. He wasn't a tour guide but suggested places to visit that brought the whole experience together. We can't say enough good things about him. Highly recommend.

Having been to Normandy before, our choice to use a private Vjator guide & driver immediately paid dividends. Adrien's incredible knowledge & preparedness made the entire day an absolute learning experience delight. His advice extended to his choice of where we had lunch on the Omaha Beach. A wonderful and complete experience in every way!

Our driver was very good. I ordered the driver only experience without a guide but our driver spoke excellent English and gave us information. The sites were self-explanatory so a guide wasn’t necessary. It was a very expensive trip though - a per person charge for 6 people added up to close to $1000.
