The pick up is at any hotel or meeting point in town from where we will start our adventure It's a 40 minutes drive to the volcano. I use fully insured and accredited vehicles with a professional driver all the time.

So the hike up was rough for me but russel was great. He carried my board, took plenty of breaks for me and even gave me his Powerade. He was very knowledgeable about the history. The views are amazing and the boarding down was fun (looks steep and scary but amazing time)

Absolutely amazing! I can’t begin to say just how smooth and professional this tour company is. Sergio (our tour guide) is the best. You can tell he enjoys what he does, explained everything in detail, calmed me down because I was shook at first. Everything was just perfect! Must book! P.S. I’m petrified of heights… but once you get going down the volcano, that goes away. And you really do control your own speed!

Sergio was great!! We booked this tour as a private group of 6.. They were super flexible since we were driving from San Juan Del Sur 4 hours away. Great communication, awesome equipment (I noticed the other groups didn't have as nice Jumpsuits), and very knowledgeable. So fun! Highly recommend

GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I would recommend this tour because if no one else books it it will be a private tour with your companion while others will be a group of school bus quantity which when you do the hike may be an elongated due to the different athletic levels. I would always bring some type of bandanna or mask because the dirt is real and also tighten up your goggles because I was going so fast down there that the dirt was getting inside them. You're going to get dirty like filthy so be prepared. i going to drop some footage on my page #9jaflyguy or @Uchaways. they picked me up from Managua for 90 USD. not bad price. The hike isnt bad will take 40- 55 mins with normals stop for pictures and water breaks.

The communication was very easy and the tour amazing. Sergio knows a lot about his country and could answer every single question. The hiking was a 45 minute walking with little breaks. If you want, there are some friends of the guide, who carry your board for a low budget. The vulcano is amszing and the trip down worth every single cent. Would recommend this trip to everyone!

Really cool experience with Franklin!

I did a private tour with Franklin and his driver Jorge in May 2022 and it was fantastic. It’s very easy to communicate with Franklin in advance of the tour and they pick you up and drop you off wherever you ask. Franklin is a great tour guide who is very conversational and the tour itself is a blast. There’s a hike up to the top of the volcano which if you want he will take you on a couple side trails before the boarding. I highly recommend that as he took me into the crater which was extremely unique. Then when it’s time to board he sets you up then runs down the hill so he can film you riding past (which he sends to you via Air Drop or WhatsApp). Other than ending up covered in ash, which was expected, this was an awesome way to spend the day. I hope everyone signs up for your tour!

Franklin was just the best! Super friendly, informative, and upbeat. We were drive in a nice vehicle with A/C. Amazing value especially for a private tour We loved getting to explore different parts of the crater and landscape while hiking up the volcano. Boarding down was a blast and definitely worth it. Franklin also took so many pictures and videos for us which was a great bonus.

When j first planned to book this trip, I saw that Franklin received glowing reviews and 5 stars each time. I wondered how someone could receive all 5 stars from the clients but it motivates me to book. Let me say, all the reviews are absolutely CORECT! Franklin is incredible! The tour is incredible. Franklin is kind and professional and funny. He was patient with us as we climbed the volcano. He told us interested history about the city. He took the best photos and videos for us. He stayed in communication with us about the tour even days before. Then on the day of, he arrived on time to pick us up. This is hands down my favorite experience in Leon. If you are torn on whether you should book or not, this is your reminder to go ahead and book. You are guaranteed to have an amazing time with Franklin.
