What To Expect

Be ready for pickup at your hotel in Manaus at 9am. Transfer to the waterfront with your guide and group, where you will board a speedboat bound for the Amazon jungle.

Head for an indigenous village, where you will meet members of the Tucano and Dessano tribes and see how they live their life in the jungle in a traditional way.

Travel out to the famous Meeting of the waters, where the Rio Solimões and the Rio Negro meet and travel side by side for several miles, before eventually forming the mighty Amazon River.

Hop into a motorized canoe to travel deeper down the Amazon's smaller tributaries, searching for local wildlife such as anacondas, sloths, and the famous pink Amazon river dolphin, swimming in its natural habitat.

Along the way, stop for lunch at a floating restaurant, where traditional Brazilian food is served.

After eight hours, enjoy convenient drop-off back at your hotel in Manaus.

Had to wait for latecomers
Terri_H, Mar 2024
This tour met my expectations. There were about 35 people on the tour, and we waited about one and a half hours for a few stragglers before we left. Really unfair to the people who came on time. Once we started, it was what was promised and was really enjoyable.

Guide not the best
Dina_P, May 2022
The tour itself was amazing specially swimming with the pink dolphin, where we managed to touch the beautiful creature. The issue we had was that we booked a English speaking tour and although the guide did speak English he explained 80%of the time in Portuguese and 20% in English as there were only 3 of us. He also only had basic knowledge and if asked any questions he wasn't clear in fact we found out later that he had given us an incorrect answer.
disappointing experience, mainly designed to get more money out of tourists.

Looking at a Caiman in the lake near where we had lunch. the meeting place of the Wsaters was disappointing because from the low perspective we had in the small boat, it was really impossible to see the true picture of how the waters of the two rivers stay separate. the better tour would have been on a higher boat, taken from the top deck. the vist to the native Indian villlage was very hokey and an excuse to sell souveniers. this is not a real village; it is an articirical one set up for the people to put on short shows parading around in head dresses.
Amazing! Must do while in Brazil!

This was the most amazing thing I have ever done in my life! I was solo but the tour itself had a large number of people in it. The tour guide spoke both Portuguese and English fluently. From going to a fishing village, interacting with an indigenous tribe, swimming with pink dolphins, and having a traditional lunch—this tour is worth every penny and worth it to make the trip to the Amazon!
Worst Experience Ever

Tour guy made fun of us because we didn't speak Portuguese, he didn't even want to acknowledge us. Even though we paid for English speaking guide,he avoid us to the point some of the group members were telling him to translate to us. The food was good but it didn't include beverage, not even water. The tour was supposed to begin at 9 an but they picked us up at 6:30 am. Horrible experience all round. Not recommended.
Great tour of the Amazon and lovely...
Karl M, Apr 2018
Great tour of the Amazon and lovely boat ride. The tour guide made sure to stop the boat at several different locations to allow passengers to take photos. The Indian village was neat, but obviously very touristy. Overall, it's a great one day trip of the Amazon if you're only able to take a quick trip to Manaus.
