This was a great tour, meeting on time in the terminal. I think the guide could have given a little more information when we were going to the pink dolphins. Turns out we only had about 15 minutes. Not enough time to change clothes and really enjoy them. But as it turned out for the rest of the tour we were always one step ahead of the bigger tours from the ship. The food for lunch was outstanding. The place was prepared, food was hot and mighty tasty. Especially the fried fish. The best I have had on this 2 1/2 month cruise so far. Right length of time and the price was very affordable.

This was a great tour, meeting on time in the terminal. I think the guide could have given a little more information when we were going to the pink dolphins. Turns out we only had about 15 minutes. Not enough time to change clothes and really enjoy them. But as it turned out for the rest of the tour we were always one step ahead of the bigger tours from the ship. The food for lunch was outstanding. The place was prepared, food was hot and mighty tasty. Especially the fried fish. The best I have had on this 2 1/2 month cruise so far. Seeing the many different birds in their natural habitat was wonderful. The captain was very well trained and resourceful. Our guide was knowledgeable and very helpful.
Very nice trip, not just iconic but potentially fullfiling as well.

My focus was mostly meeting people and getting to know a little bit of their stories. This is a good trip for that. I loved the maneuvering displayed by our boat staff when another parked boat drifted too close to ours. I loved to watch the demeanor of the indigenous people we visited during their presentation. I enjoyed getting to know another lone traveler willing to endure my broken Portuguese and share some of his stories with me. I also need to mention on the side that food at lunch was very good.

The trip advertisement does not represent the actual trip facts. The double decker Amazon traditional boat is not the one used (used to be and was much better). Today the tour is done on a low to the water jet propulsion boat for speed. It's bouncy, sometimes wet, and everyone has to stay sitting down at all times. Seats are tight and uncomfortable. Meeting of the waters looses it's appeal due to being so low to the water and makes for poor quality photographs. The double decker amazon boat was way better. Allowed for walking around, great photography and had a bar to serve water and assorted drinks. Slower but you got to see the river in much better detail instead of zipping from one point to another. There used to be an eco smaller boat tour at the floating restaurant stop where you would get into smaller boats and get a wonderful cruise through the jungle and with explanations of trees and animals. This no longer happens and you're left to figure everything out for yourself. You have to do the walk to the giant Lilly pads on your own and again no one explaining what you're looking at. This stop also has turned into one big FB selfie area forcing everyone to have to wait to take pictures of the surrounding nature. Suggest looking elsewhere for a slower paced and more informative tour.

La experiencia superó ampliamente mis expectativas. El espectáculo de ver el encuentro de las aguas fue sorprendente en el marco de un paisaje natural maravilloso. Poder disfrutar de rituales de una tribu amazonica agregó más encanto a la aventura. Sin dudas, este tour es un regalo al alma para aquellos que disfrutamos de la aventura.
