In case you are in a hotel in Manaus, please provide location, we will meet you there. If you are arriving by cruise ship, please provide the arrival time and names, we normally meet the passengers at the green mirror terminal in Manaus. Airport, please provide flight details and names.

What To Expect

Choose between a morning or afternoon tour departure during booking and receive a pickup from your Manaus hotel at the designated time. You’ll begin the day by discovering the city’s historic quarter.

Visit the Provincial Palace, a structure originally constructed in 1870 to serve as the Governor’s home. The building was later turned into the Manaus City Hall. Proceed from there to the city market, offering a chance to wander the aisles overflowing with Amazonian fruits, vegetables, fish, and typical souvenirs. Then head to the Rio Negro Palace, which today serves as a city cultural center. Back in 1900 when it was first built, the building was designed for a local tycoon.

Continue the trip by visiting the Amazonas Opera House, one of the most famous buildings in Manaus. This elegant building, constructed during the era of Brazil’s “rubber boom,” sits at the heart of a recently revitalized area created for residents and tourists alike. You’ll then drive by car to the Manaus port area, passing through the city’s industrial section while en route.

Finish the day by enjoying a trip aboard a covered speedboat, allowing you to visit the famous site where the Negro and Solimões Rivers merge and then a floating village where you can get a glimpse of daily life. You’ll return to land and get transferred back to your hotel to finish the trip.

Complete ½ day tour of Manaus

We were looking for a ½ day tour that included more than just the usual city tour, so we booked this one that included a boat tour of the merged waters on the Amazon. So we saw the city highlights including the Opera house and then headed to the river for a boat tour. Nice. We enjoyed our guide, Daniel who was flexible, knowledgeable and friendly. All around good tour.

Great guide. Closed venue. Disappointed.

Our tour guide was fantastic. However, we paid $200 per person ($400) which included entrance fees to the opera house and the governor’s palace. Both were closed and we weren’t informed of this until our tour started. Very disappointing. We could have found this same trip for a lot less money. The meeting of the waters is something you should definitely see.

Hello Mr. As you were informed at the beginning of the tour, the theater closure was something we were not expecting and also took us by surprise, the theater is one of the most visited spots in Manaus and from time to time it needs to close to do some renovations due to the rainy season.

This is an excellent tour of Manaus and the meeting of the waters. Rodolpho was a great tour guide. He was extremely knowledgable and he taught us a lot about Manaus. See the spectacular Opera House, the Rio Negro Palace and the market. Do not miss the boat tour to see the meeting of the waters. It is amazing to see the brown Amazon meet the black Rio Negro. Unforgettable!

What a wonderful tour of Manaus,guided by Rodolpho, who shows the love of his nation with a through and informative tour of the city and the two rivers that come together to form the Amazon. Our tour started with a walk through the markets with the abundance of fruits and vegetables and fish and meats and a chance to view handicrafts in the rebuild market in the center town. Then a trip to the Opera House with a chance rehearsal performance of a Christmas concert and then to Rio Negro and Provincial Palace with explanation in Rodolpho's perfect English. But the highlight of the tour was the speedboat ride to the Meeting of the Rio Negro and Amazon waters. This was amazing! A wonderful tour with an excellent guide. Well worth whatever you spend on this trip!

A really superb tour. A drive through the city with great explanations, followed by brilliant fast boat ride to meeting of waters, floating village and submerged forest. Then a detailed visit to the Opera House and markets. Rodolpho was hugely knowledgeable and the trip exciting and fun. Unexpected bonus was collection and return right to the ship's gangway. Strongly recommended

En términos generales el tour muestra lo que hay que ver en Manaos. Sin embargo lo califico con 3 porque lo ofrecen como un tour en español y no era en español. La información es engañosa. Cuidado con eso. Le quita mucha seriedad a la página.
