Overview

Enjoy an afternoon of restorative relaxation soaking in mineral hot springs. Enjoy at your door pick up from your Mazatlan hotel and get away from the tourist trail. The springs are rich in magnesium, calcium, sulfur, and carbon which work to alleviate aches and pains. Some find a soak in the springs is good for the skin as well. Afterwards, there will be time for lunch and exploring town.

Too expensive, wasted day

Extremely disappointing. Too much money for this barely mediocre experience. Over an hour trip to small village for soak in mineral hot springs—a large hot tub virtually. Highlight was lunch, which was very good. Then tour (2 rooms) of tequila factory with samples given. Then LONG trip back to hotel. Wasted day.

Long way to sit around in hot water

The ride was interesting but long to get to the hot spring. We were told the driver would be bilingual which was incorrect. He was pleasant but did not converse. I would have liked som history of the area or such while driving. When there we sat in a warm/hot pool of water again with no guide or information. Then we had lunch which was very nice. The village was small and quaint but again no stories to go with the location

DON'T BOOK ANY TOURS IN MAZATLÁN THROUGH ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THE AREAS THE HOTEL RECOMMENDS. I thought booking through Viator was going to be a good bet but turns out it was a scam. No one picked me up. Viator should be giving me a refund soon.

Hot Springs adventure

Sometimes you have to take the time to wind down and enjoy the simple pleasures life has to offer - like getting away, sitting in a hot tub and then, enjoying an authentic from-scratch meal with all the trimmings (tequila cheese - OMG) so if you want to have a quality experience that is guaranteed to relax you, highly recommend the Hot Springs tour, delicious lunch and tequila tasting -

Driver never picked us up

We were never picked up for the hot springs. After calling and them saying the driver was on his way, we waited a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes. I told them we wanted our money back but there was no response. Thought you should know. I have Viator several other times and everything other than this was great.

Much more than described

Not only hot Spring pools but also a mud bath, sweat lodge and also served more authentic delicious Mexican lunch than you can eat! Transportation was great.

A professional operation and great way to get off the beaten path

Visited from a cruise ship. This tour is a lovely way to get off the beaten path. We spent 2 hrs soaking in the hot springs, followed by a delicious lunch and tequila tasting. There is the option to add on zip lining and ATV. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Highly recommend

New Visitors to Mazatlan

The tour guide Roberto was very friendly and knowledgeable of the old towns on the way to the Vernao where the hot mineral tub was located. Pick up time was great with no waiting. The tour was money well spent. The food & service with Carlo was great along with the tequila Distillery tour with Antonio was fantastic! N/a on doing anything better. I would highly recommend this tour to new visitors to Mazatlan!!

Fernando was an excellent guide and we learned a lot about the surrounding area. The pools could gave been hotter and one had a low water level. Tge lunch was excellent.

Great hot springs experience! Love that there was a hot hot pool in the Cold War outside it and the food was crates. Omar and Isaac are great guys to go around with.

Relaxing hot springs and delicious lunch!

I gave this tour top ratings because it was a wonderful experience. We loved the hot springs, which are two nice, large concrete pools, one directly from the thermal spring so it is very warm and the other slightly cooler. Very relaxing. The little town is very picturesque and the lunch was so delicious! Our driver stopped for fresh empanadas made by hand and cooked in a brick oven. Delicious! After the tour he drove us through the old Mazatlan to see the cathedral and the town square. It was all decorated for Dia de Los Muertos so quite a visual feast. The only bad was the taxi was too small for the four of us. It was a longish drive up to the hot springs and the back seat was not large enough for 3 adults, maybe 2 and a child and that would still be cramped. Luckily the other traveler stuck in the backseat with my husband and I was good spirited and didn't mind how cozy we had to get. Despite the uncomfortable travel, I still recommend the tour.

Hot springs were awesome

The poolswede awesome! The only thing that I had an issue with was the steps down into the pool were so deep that I had an issue getting in and out of the pools. I would not recommend this for anyone that is handicapped or has any issues with any extremities.

Hot spring pool was great and worth visiting

My tour guide was Melesio Quintero and because of the covid-19 situation, I was the only person to go to the hot springs on my day. Melesio was a joy to go with as he spoke English and told me information about the history of the area. The hotsprings themselves were great because again, I was the only one there. I would suggest to anyone who goes to just wear up and back whatever you will be bathing with. There is not much of a changing area there. The baths were great,. One is a much warmer bath and the other a bit more cooler. Lunch afterwards was great. Much to much for me to eat.
