We enjoyed this tour very much from the bus ride to the paddleboat cruise and the BBQ tasting at Central barbeque. Our guide was Renae and our driver was Michael and both were very pleasant and professional keeping us on track during all our stops during the bus ride. We only had 8 on the tour so it was very personable. This was probably our favorite tour on the entire Tennessee trip. The guide on the paddleboat tour was very good as well but I can't remember his name.

Larry was great and really knows his stuff. He seems like a great guy who genuinely enjoys allowing people to learn on his tours. The bbq was good and was an added bonus alongside the boat tour.
Great Day

The tour was very enjoyable and informative. Our tour guide was terrific! The only minor drawback was once we got on to the riverboat, we had an hour wait before it started. I would have liked more time at the Rock and Soul Museum and less time waiting for the riverboat cruise, but otherwise it was a great day

Riverboat cruise was excellent . Our tour narrator was unengaging. I couldn’t follow her as she was to factual & not personable
Nice tour

The tour guide and driver were very nice and interesting. Saw the Lorraine Motel, Beale Street history, history of the I AM MAN Memorial, history of St. Judes hospital. The barbeque lunch was delicious. The Rock and Roll Museum was very good. It rained during the paddle river cruise, but staff was nice, helpful and informative. Overall it was a good tour.
Best tour ever

The first part was a history tour of Memphis with Larry! What a fun learning experience. Larry was full of knowledge not just trivia of Memphis but also stories of Memphis people we all love. “Today we are going to talk of three Kings of Memphis, the King of the Blues, the King of rock and roll and of course Dr King”
What a great way to start telling us how important Memphis is. Thank you Larry!
The riverboat cruise was fantastic as well. Mr Smith was great at keeping our attention the entire time, informative and entertaining.
Amazing Tour

Memphis discovery tour...
GerardH_H, Apr 2024
Memphis discovery tour with Larry was a 5 out of 5. The riverboat cruise was a 3 out of 5. The reason for the 3 is that the cruise was too long. Lots of good info on the first half and nothing to add on the second half.
Gr8

Larry our bus tour guide was the best! I really enjoyed the Rock and Soul Museum and could have used a little more time there to fully engage with each of the exhibits.
I added on the River Boat Cruise. The beginning of the cruise included very informative narration. The last half hour or so was boring.
Beautiful

First off - a BIG thank you to all of the Staff. They were Great!!!
Our driver on the tour bus, Larry, was excellent in knowledge & his fine character. He was correct about lunch also. It was very good.
The boat cruise was perfect and we enjoyed every minute of it.
A shout out to the gentleman, we didn't catch his name, though it started w/an "L" , he was a great Mississippi River guide.
My husband has just 1 foot (right now - fighting w/the insurance company) but everyone was very accommodating. He thought he lost his wallet but it was turned in by the lady that drove the side by side and we "Thank Her"
We want to book another tour for our other daughter & her husband when they come out. Excellent Day! Very memorable.
Super ride
