We had a great time with our guide Flor. It was a nice size group of 9 people. Everyone was very friendly and fun and our group mainly consisted of those in their late twenties, early thirties. We visited multiple wineries and had a delicious large lunch as well. The wineries were unique and beautiful. The wine was flowing! Highly recommend this tour.

We had such a great day. We felt it was very well rounded with history of wine making. Tastings and a great lunch. The lunch was actually spectacular. Our guide Ezekiel was excellent and so helpful. Definitely worth doing this tour to really see the best wineries

Best wine tour in Mendoza

A must do when visiting Mendoza is to do a wine tour. I am so happy I booked a tour with Trout & Wine. Paola was a very kind and knowledgeable guide, and gave us information about the wine region and even about Mendoza itself. Although it was a bit out of my comfort zone to start drinking wine at 10AM, I was quickly adapted and loved the tasting and exploration of the different wine varieties. The lunch we had was at, Casarena. It exceeded all my expectations and really felt like a fine ding experience. The pickup and dropoffs at the hotel were perfect. Also the communication beforehand was good. I would definitely book again with Trout & Wine knowing that I am in good hands.

Find me a wine tour anywhere in the World that offers 17 excellent wines, a multi-course gourmet lunch, a separate guide and driver leading a small group (9 max) in one language, and I'll give you a full refund. You won't find one but you'll certainly have a good time:)

I had such a fun day with Ricky! We went to three different wineries and enjoyed a beautiful sunny day in the valley. We learned about the area, different wines, and each winery spent time explaining their stories (plus we got to enjoy a lot of amazing wines - Malbec and beyond). As a solo traveler I enjoy joining small group tours and this did not disappoint. We had a fun group and a great guide and driver (Nico). Thank you! Highly recommend!

Excellent Wine Tour and Guide

Our tour guide Exekiel and the wineries were excellent. All the wineries were different and brought out the uniqueness of the Mendoza wineries. Ezekiel was able to answer all our questions and gave very informative talks about wine making and the region on the drive to the wineries.

Went with friends. Communication via WhatsApp leading up to the tour was very good. Paola the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wineries were very good though the last stop was rushed. Lunch was pretty good. Overall I enjoyed it and had a great time with the other couples on the tour - great meeting other travelers from around the world, but think the price point was a bit high though possibly on par for the region. Recommend booking directly through trout & wine website as Viator will not price match though it is the same tour.

Hi Lena. Thank you for the review. I shall talk to the guides about rushing the last winery as we don't wish for this to happen. Saying that,, at the fourth winery we skip the big tour and go straight to the tasting as people begin to wilt after a full day and multi-course lunch. Regarding the price, I have to argue with you. If you can find me a wine tour anywhere in the World, that is small group (9 people max) with a separste guide (not just a driver), one language (we do spanish and portuguese separately) where you taste 17 excellent wines plus a multi-course gourmet lunch, all included in the price of 170 US, I will give you a full refund. Happy travels!

The whole experience was great from our pick up at our hotel to the 3 wineries we toured with all the tastings was wonderful. Paula our guide was very informative. The 5 course lunch was great with a different wine tasting with each course and more. Please don't hesitate to take this tour. Great memories we will take back home with us. Skip the 30 dollar tourist trap trips to vineyards and opt for this. Small group, great (and LOTS of) wine and an excellent lunch, which is in fact a four course dinner.

Thank you, Morten and that's good advice. On our wine tours you get what you pay for. Also beware, Mendoza has become cursed with over-priced tourist traps. Don't be fooled by the "best winery in the World" nonsense peddled by wine hacks. We go for the local, authentic, quality wineries and keep the snobbery to a minimum. Happy travels!
