What a great trip! Demetrio was an amazing tour guide, extremely informative while keeping it interesting the whole time. We enjoyed the beautiful cenotes and then the best food we’ve had our whole trip at the restaurant! The driver was great as well, even picking us up at our AirBnB perfectly on time. We got to the cenotes before the crowds which I was so grateful for. Overall an amazing experience with a great guide. Thank you Demetrio!
    Seamless and perfect

Fantastic trip. We got to see small villages with their ruins, and the 4 cenotes were each so different. Our guide Pablo was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Perfect day.
    Cenotes are beautiful

Great experience , 4 cenotes in the same place ! Good travel , a van with only 3 passengers . The guide good enough , not extraordinary, can tell you that we had better guides , but was ok . The food in general is ok also

It is impossible to pick one part as the best. This would have been to Mayapan but there was a local disagreement so the site was closed. So we went to a small Mayan town and saw the market and the church and a surviving temple. Then we went to the Santa Barbara denotes. I thought it was just one but there were four. Each was better then the last one. Good facility, life vests excellent, well marked and an elevator was available for the last one. My wife spent almost 3 hours gloating in heaven while I took video and pictures. We are coming back again next year so I can float around. Guide was awesome Can taught us some Mayan terms and gave us typical Mayan treats from the market. Just a stunningly beautiful experience. Oh lunch was great as well.
Well worth the $ & time

Our guide was wonderful & the lunch was a delight. The cenotes were not too crowded & spectacular…..
    Amazing experience!

This trip was amazing! It was the most incredible thing I have ever done! We went to Acanceh to see a small area of Mayan ruins that was very interesting. We were able to climb on both of the structures. Then we went to the cenotes. We had 3 hours to swim in the 4 cenotes which was plenty of time. We rode the horse cart to cenote #1. Then you walk to #2 and #3 (very short walk). Then the horse cart to cenote #4 which was back where we started. Then we had lunch (we chose what we wanted before we went swimming). We only had to pay for our own drinks. The driver/guide was so nice. We learned a lot from him. I would highly recommend this trip.
Gorgeous Cenotes with a great guide

Julio our guide and driver was great. A kind and relaxed guy. I enjoyed the Acanceh stop as a slice of something more local. The Cenotes were all simply stunning. Nice relaxing day out.
    Fantastic Cenotes

There ended up being just 3 guests on this which was a fantastic small group experience. The pick-up was easy. The tour started with a visit to the small town of Acanceh where we walked around some ruins, churches, and the market. We then headed to the Cenotes which were absolutely beautiful. Once in a lifetime experience! Would recommend booking.
A tip, there are apps you can download that will transcribe from Spanish to English as your guide speaks.
    David_E, Jan 2024
I did have a good time, but when I book, the site shared there would be an English speaking guide. It did not. The guide asked one of guests to translate. Not their job, though were willing to do so.

Wonderful time!!! My son and I had so much fun! Our guide was fantastic. Our first time to Mexico and swimming in the ceynotes was a highlight.
    Great tour, classic Mayan experience!

The tour picked up the guests at the specified locations and we drove to Mayapan. We arrived just after three tour buses from a cruise ship in progreso so we waited for a few minutes to enter Mayapan. The Mayapan tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a great overview of Mayapan and how it fit into the Mayan history. We climbed one of the pyramids. It was great walking around one of the last great Mayan cities. Next, we went to on the three cenotes at Santa Barbara. No crowds and the cenotes were magnificent. I recognized them because so many photos have been taking of each. Bonus, we biked between the cenotes! Finally we had a late lunch at the restaurant and back to merida. Food is at 3pm so bring snacks.

Every aspect of the tour was spectacular. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and courteous. Every thing the pyramids the cenotes and the meal at the restraunt were better then expected. Thumbs up 👍.
    Nice and easy day trip

I had a fun day on this tour, but that was mainly because of my amazing guide, Raúl. He told me all about Mayapan before we headed to the Santa Barbara cenotes. I wanted to ride bikes to the three cenotes, and Raúl rode with me leading the way. Great experience!!
    Amazing day trip

It was a good trip. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was good to learn the history of Mayapan and also amazing to swim at the Cenote of Santa Barbara.
    Great experience
    Sara_M, Apr 2023
Great experience. Knowledgeable tour guides and beautiful Cenotes. You can also climb the ruins at Mayapan, which is unique! Got to see a lot in one day.
I would give it more than 5 stars!

OH! This was a great tour! We had a good group of kind and fun people that went along. The tour director, Carlos, was great fun and provided a perfect English and Spanish dialect in stellar fashion. I was amazed by the ruins and even got to climb to the top and see it all from above. The cenotes were beautiful, and we had plenty of time to experience all 3 that were so different from each other and equally as fascinating. Swimming in caves is just so amazing, a spiritual feeling really. Victor, our kind and quiet driver, was awesome and we always felt safe on the road. He also watched our belongings for us when we needed to leave them behind. Tip big! They're worth it! Hip Hip Hooray! I'd give it ten stars if I had the option. I'll do it again. Sally
    Fabulous

The cenotes are a beautiful place to "bathe" - I'd say swim except that the mandatory life jackets mean it's more of a float and paddle situation - still, very pleasurable! The short ride in to the site on the horse drawn carts is a bit jarring - hang onto the rope! No seats, just park your butts on the plywood. The Mayapan site is smaller than the more famous ruins elsewhere, but very interesting historically. The site is beautiful and well maintained. Our guide "Willy" aka Willberth was engaging, knowledgeable, funny, warm and a joy to spend time with. His English is good, and he worked hard to keep us informed. Highly recommended, easy tour.
    Awesome day trip

Highly recommended this excellent excursion! Wilbert, AKA Chilly Willy, was very knowledgeable and funny and enhanced the experience. Mayapan was incredible, there was so much to see and it was not crowded. The cenotes were spectacular as well; make sure to bring a waterproof pouch for your phone.
    Well worth it!

The ruins were spectacular even after seeing Chichen Itza and Muxal! It’s also the only place you can climb to the top of a pyramid for a breathtaking view. The three cenotes were all wonderful even with more people than we were used to for the rural cenotes we had visited previously. We took bikes instead of the horse drawn trolly which was more fun for us and allowed us to visit the cenotes on our own schedule. The food at the restaurant was superb! I would go there just for the food.
