I strongly recommend this tour. We were picked up from out ship in Messina and toured Taormina and Castlemora. Our guides suggested a wonderful local restaurant for our lunch. It rained all day, but when we talk about our tour somehow we never mention the rain. What could be more perfect!

We had a perfect private tour around Sicily / Messina / Taormina with Sicily Best Tours booked through Viator. Lillo (our local driver) met us right at the cruise port terminal a drove us first out to Savoca where we had lovely views from the hillside where they shot scenes from "The Godfather" in 1972 at Bar Vitelli. He shared some delicious local pastries he bought us before we toured the small town and the church of Santa Lucia. Lillo then drove us out to Castlemola where we had the very unique experience of tasting almond wine and enjoyed one of the best scenic views of Mt Etna. He then dropped us off in an area where we could stroll for shopping and stop for lunch in the Taormina center. We ended the day at the Cathedral of Messina with the iconic astronomical clock tower connected to a beautiful church. Lillo was so friendly and welcoming, giving us plenty of local history peppered with lots of humor. The day was filled with beautiful sites, overlooks, lots of laughs and memories made. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to get just a taste of the beauty Sicily has to offer.

We had a beautiful day in Sicily! Lillo was our driver and he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We asked for time for lunch so we could experience dining in Sicily and he made that happen! Thank you Viator!

The personalized service by both Oleksandra and our driver were so much more than we could have hoped for!

Wow what an experience! Erika and Giancarlo were the perfect dynamic duo as our tour guide and driver. The thought they put into making our Sicilian experience the perfect day for us was unbelievable and very much appreciated. Erika picked the most beautiful lunch spot for us overlooking Isola Bella…it was breathtaking! Between making sure we hit the right locations at the best times (one more beautiful than the next), providing cold water on a hot day, being our own private photographer, and giving firsthand cultural perspective of her native Sicily along the way, we couldn’t be more confident to recommend this trip to others. You won’t be disappointed!

Lillo was a great tour guide & met us right on time. Visiting Bar Vitelli in Savoca, which was featured in “The Godfather” was a real treat, along with seeing the church. Taormina is gorgeous. Lillo made a reservation for us at a restaurant in Castelmola that overlooked Mt. Etna , where we had a fabulous lunch. All in all, a wonderful tour.

Fue el mejor tours en Sicilia Messina, Filippo fue nuestro guía, nos llevó a Taormina, Castelmola, Savoca, luego antes de llevarnos al crucero nos llevó a un restaurante, el cual le doy 5 estrellas, donde mejor hemos comido en Italia, nos dio un tours por la ciudad, nunca miró el reloj, siempre nos protegió, realmente es un excelente ser humano, guía, realmente el mejor de los mejores!!!!! Habla español perfectamente...nos recogió antes de tiempo y regresamos después de la hora acordada.... realmente EL MEJOR!!!!!!!
