Overview
See Monument Valley at its most spectacular: as it is lit up by the setting sun. This tour is led by a Navajo guide and takes you into the backcountry, to places that are normally off limits to visitors. As well as seeing the sights, you'll dive into Indigenous culture with a Navajo rug weaving demonstration and performances.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

My husband & I really enjoyed the sunset tour of Monument Valley by Monument Valley Tribal Tours. Sandrea was an awesome tour guide! She explained each monument, shared Navajo history & sang a beautiful song in Navajo that she wrote for her daughter. I highly recommend this tour!

Due to the high wind, the sunset tour we booked was cancelled. We rebooked for the following morning tour with Larry. The scenery was spectacular and Larry was good.

We loved the information we got from Frank our guide. And monument Valley was just amazing.
But my highlight was the meeting with Eula. An Indian lady who taught us about Indian life.

The colors of the earth contrasted brilliantly with the sky making a very unreal and almost alien landscape. Our guide Larry was very knowledgeable but also easygoing and pleasant. The tour operators gathered some of our groups and all did a small, authentic tribal performance including singing, drumming and flute playing. We also got to see the petroglyphs which can only be viewed by booking with a Navajo guide. Your vehicle will also thank you if you book with an escort who drives you down into the valley. Quite a bumpy ride!

The owners are not organized. The tour was not worth the money paid. The vehicles are substandard - but the Valley was Beautiful.
