the tour guide was a well informed Japanese man and had a lot of information to share about the culture of Japanese people as well as shared the meanings and philosophy of each religion as we saw temples and shrines. So we learned a lot after we were done with the tour. And we asked to skip some temples and he was understanding about that as well.

Special Day Trip to Nara

This is a must one day tour from Kyoto to Nara! Amiko greeted us at the hotel and was a very efficient navigator. Her pace allowed us to see as much as possible in the time frame. She was very knowledgeable of her culture/religions and had much enthusiasm to share her knowledge with us. We had a wonderful enriching day!

Overpriced tour with limited information

Our driver was a very nice, polite, considerate person and a good driver and photographer. However, he was not a guide (definetely not a certified one) and had a very limited grasp of the English language. We received hardly any info regarding Kyoto. We spent way too long time in a bamboo forest and missed out on important parts of Kyoto. We would have been better off to take a hop on/off bus tour of Kyoto at a fraction of the cost. If you are considering this tour ask for a ''government certified'' guide. We would like to get some refund from the agency.

Fantastic tour with Emiko! I cannot recommend her enough! She was very accommodating to our schedule and we were able to see all of the sights in Nara! The public transport system is amazing once you get to travel on it. Our guide Masahisa was very informative and we had a wonderful tour. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone
