I had a great experience on my bike tour. Quinn is an excellent tour guide. He loves his country and it resonates with all the historical, fun and personal facts he shared. Because of his passion for the Bahamas, I have a true appreciation for the island, its history & the people. We visited a lot of great places, sampled food, wine, rum and supported local shops along the way. It was a great time. The staff at Dilly Dally bike tours were very kind as well. Highly recommended this 5 star experience. Thank you Q!!

The Dilly Daily Bike tour was a great way to see and learn about historic downtown Nassau, Bahamas. Don is an excellent tour guide who is very knowledgeable and pleasant. The tour was great for adults and teens alike. I would highly recommend it.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable friendly and gave clear and good directions throughout the tour. A great way to hit several highlights in a efficient way. Enjoyed hearing the history and making of places and buildings.

Super fun way to see Nassau!
Christie_D, Dec 2023
Had a really great time seeing the sights and learning about Nassau! Our guide Don took care to make sure our group of 10 stayed safe and provided lots of good background and local history. Tour was flexible so we rode over to Fish Fry instead of eating at the distillery- was glad to see this unique local site. Riders should be comfortable riding bikes in an urban setting (read: traffic, uneven sidewalks, construction). Overall a great way to see a bit of Nassau!

Fun bike tour!
Ken_R, Sep 2023
Tamara and I had a wonderful time with Don as our host. He was knowledgeable about Nassau and great fun. The only down side was that the museum and art gallery were closed and there was no upfront warning about this.
Response from Host, Oct 2023
Hello Ken and Tamara! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience of our bike tour! We are delighted you enjoyed your time with Don. Thanks for your advice. We will definitely display the art gallery closed day in a more prominent place. Thanks so much for riding with us!
Informative, fun and you will get some exercise.
Leslie_M, Sep 2023
Don was fabulous! We had a great time seeing and learning many fun facts about Nassau .We enjoyed the stops for the Queen's steps, ice cream, homemade delicious chocolate, rum distillery and more. The trip did required a moderate amount of exercise, though Don would slow down if you needed a brief rest. The only unfortunate part of the trip is that the bikes have no speeds and no hand breaks. The tour does include roadway riding so you do have to have a level of confidence in your skill set.

Hello Leslie! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and for the tips you left future guests. We enjoyed hosting you and are delighted you enjoyed your tour. Safe travels!
riding unsteadily with my family
william_l, Aug 2023
first and foremost, you need to be a good, steady bicycle rider, not fast, not strong, just a steady bike rider. this is because to get around nassau, you have to ride the main roads and unless it's a sunday or holiday, the traffic is intense. this means cars/trucks are literally a foot beside you as you ride along some of the main streets. if you're comfortable with this, this is a great tour as it takes you to many places near downtown nassau. the tour itself is very good, and the bikes are in good shape (no gears and brakes by pedalling backward only ie. no handbrakes). our guide was engaging, kind and knowledgeable. for my family of 6, we had to walk our bikes due to the intense traffic, as some in my family are not steady bike riders. if i had known about the traffic, and knowing the bicycle riding abilities of my family, i would not have gone on this tour. however, i would recommend the tour to steady bike riders.
Response from Host, Sep 2023
Hello William! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your family's experience. Our downtown tour would definitely be for steady riders given that there are no bike lanes Downtown. We thank you for sharing and appreciate your kind words about our guide. Safe travels!

Wobbly tour
AS_H, Apr 2023
The guide was very good with a sense of humour and was very knowledgeable. We also visited 8 sites all of which proved interesting. However the bikes had no gears and required back pedal braking which can be difficult. The bikes seemed very wobbly. Although I would recommend the tour because of the guide and sites we did more walking than is normal for a bike tour. Also the roads are not very safe for these bikes. Bikes with handle bar brakes and gears would have made it all a more pleasant experience
Response from Host, Apr 2023
Hello! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience on our bike tour. We are so sorry about the malfunctioned bike. Definitely a great idea about moving from the beach cruisers to ones that can comfortably take the 2 inclines. Thank you for letting us be a part of your vacation memories!
Best tour !

Thank you Quinn for giving us such a wonderful tour! And thank you to the gal in the office she welcomed us with such a friendly and happy attitude she totally set the tone for the day! What a great company to employ such amazing people!

Call rent bikes and explore on your own
Leslie_W, Mar 2023
There were 12 people . while the tour guide was nice the streets were way too congested. He said that people would stop for us and they didn't! lots of stop and go and not enough bike riding. the stops you make on the tour your are in with the general public. The chocolate samples or wine, samples or rum cake samples are there for everybody who stopped by . they were actually out of them at some of the stops. I'm past waiting for a free sample of rum. Thought by booking the tour we would have a private contact at each place that would pay attention to our crew and give us insight into the product . The guys headset kept cutting out every time he turned his head and you couldn't hear what he was saying.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hello Leslie! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Your feedback is definitely taken into consideration and we're looking at the faulty headset issue. The first few stops are within close distance so there isn't much riding in the city area but as we continue further west, the stretches are longer. Great idea about having a private contact at the stops. Always looking for ways to improve. Safe travels!
Great Bike Tour with Quinn
Susan_H, Mar 2023
Quinn was a great bike guide with a friendly easy going personality He was very informative and shared so much history and cultural information about the Bahamas. We felt safe riding with him and very much enjoyed our time chatting with him and hearing his perspective of island life. Had a lovely ride and a delicious lunch. Wonderful tour - excellent guide!
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hello Susan! We are ecstatic that you enjoyed your bike tour and felt safe. It was a pleasure sharing our beautiful city with you. Thanks for leaving a review and letting us be a part of your vacation memories.
Great little trip but more suitable for experienced cyclists
Sally_H, Mar 2023
We enjoyed our trip, there's not a huge amount of cycling but the roads are bit hairy, busy traffic and lots of bumps and dips. Cycle helmets available but not mandatory, I wish I had worn one. The bikes don't have conventional brakes, you have to back pedal to stop which takes a bit of getting used too. Our guide Quinn was friendly and knowledgeable, the company had new ear pieces for him to talk through, they worked well in close proximity but kept cutting out when at the back of the line. Maybe a rear guide would have been helpful to make sure everyone was keeping up, there was no way to contact Quinn. We saw a lot but just in a very small area near the port. I would have preferred to go a bit further a field. The highlight was ending up at the beach for some delicious freshly cooked fish and a dip in the sea

Hello Sally! Thank you for sharing your experience of our bike tour. Your feedback was a helpful reminder to use the long range ear sets with larger groups. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your vacation memories!
Great way to the city
Barbara_B, Feb 2023
Our guide, Dexter, was excellent. He was very informative about the sights. Dexter also was extremely cautious and insured that we were safe in the traffic. Would recommend tee trip, but be sure you are a proficient bike rider and are comfortable riding in traffic.
Response from Host, Feb 2023
Hello Barbara! Thanks so much for sharing your experience on our city bike tour of Downtown Nassau. Dexter enjoyed hosting you! Great tips... we do ride on the city streets, so safety is always our top priority!
Tour from Hell
Julie_L, Jan 2023
TLDR: guide was super unprofessional, made unwanted advances, acted aggressively and casually spoke to me about rape culture on the island. Stole cigars and drank wine during tour… Felt so unsafe I had to leave less than half way through your. Not recommended for solo women. Full story: - I arrived slightly early and was told that I was the only person that booked for the time slot so it would basically be a private tour. This wasn’t ideal for me since I was on my own, I was hoping to be in a group for safety reasons & for fun - I didn’t know they only had fixy bikes so I asked if the tour could be a walking version instead and they were ok with it. - as we started the tour, the guide was making comments about my appearance. I was wearing leggings and a tank top (nothing revealing, other women were walking around in their bathing suits), some guys were cat calling me (I’m in the Caribbean so this happens….) and the guide told me that I made him feel like a celebrity, he kept telling me how attractive he thought I was then told me “… don’t worry I’m not a pimp”. I was shocked that he said this to me. - he kept on asking me personal questions and I told him it made me uncomfortable and that I was paying for a tour of the city’s landmarks. I was trying to set boundaries - as we were walking around he was bringing me into traffic and not focused on actually giving a proper tour… he brought me to a cigar factory which was part of the tour and stole a bunch of cigars that were laying in an ash tray… - he brought me to a winery since it was on the to do list, asked me if I wanted to drink the samples that were a part of the package and started drinking them himself! (I’ve never seen a guide do this) given his behaviour I didn’t feel comfortable and said I wasn’t interested in the wine. He tried pushing me to drink and it was so bad the waitress had to ask him to stop. - he also got very aggressive and accused me a thinking the buildings were 3rd world. I hadn’t said anything or made any faces to provoke him like this. I don’t understand what made him say that but I tried to de-escalate him by telling him how beautiful the city and shared that the city I come from wasn’t perfect and we have some challenges with homelessness in where I come from. - the guide got upset with me and told me I wasn’t doing enough for homeless in my country and starting fighting with me about it.. I tried changing the subject to de-escalate again. we were at an intersection and cars started honking because we weren’t moving… I had to ask him multiple times where we were going …. then he brought me to a government building for the homeless and asked me if I knew what was wrong with a man on lying under a tree… then the guide told me “I can grab you and run off off with you if I want” - I felt really uncomfortable considering everything that was happening and I don’t know the area, so I asked him to bring me back to the tour office. This was 1.5 hrs into a 4 hr tour… he told me that he didn’t have to do that and he could leave me wherever but I was very firm and told him to bring me back. - we got onto a Main Street again and as we were getting close to the office then he told me “you know rape happens a lot here, it’s very common”. Completely disturbed that he said this considering all the comments he had been making, his weird actions and it was just the two of us… - we got to the office and it was actually closed! He told me “I told you I don’t need to bring you back, you see it’s closed” I was supposed to call my cab at the office to get picked up and I felt stranded with this person and upset that the operator didn’t follow through with their return point agenda … - I asked him to to find me a cab and he was annoyed, told me that I should take a bus and told me he wanted a tip… - I used his greed to convince him to get me a cab. He called some random cab driving in the streets that already had a passenger and told me to get into it. I refused because I didn’t think that would be the safe thing to do and he got upset with me again. He accused me of being a Princess. - I finally got into a different cab and got out of the situation and arrived to my hotel safely. As a woman alone with this person, it was a very scary situation and I felt helpless… I feel really lucky that nothing serious happened but I’m sharing my experience so you are aware and no one else gets put into this situation with this operator.

There are no words that can make this right. Nevertheless, please know that we are shocked and deeply saddened by your experience. This exchange was unacceptable and we are beyond thankful that you came forward and alerted us yesterday evening. We have since investigated the matter, spoken with the office manager, and received the tour guide's account. We believe every word that you have said and the guide was dismissed immediately this morning. This is the first complaint of this nature we've received about our tour and this guide. He was a fairly new addition to the team after having just completed training. Please know that he is no longer with us as his behavior violates multiple rules. This is not representative of our company culture. We have a zero-tolerance policy about things of this nature and always want to do what is best for our guests to ensure a safe, fun, and professional tour. Please accept our sincerest apologies and know that we have already begun measures to ensure the prevention of such an occurrence in the future.
Ask for BJ
Tony_I, Jan 2023
This is a great way to see the city, major historic spots, sample food and drink and get a light workout. BJ was a Grade-A guide. They give you a Bluetooth earpiece that you wear while BJ provides narration about sites and scenery. An added bonus is that the calming, soothing tones of BJ’s voice helps calm your nerves as you wind through narrow city streets while people speed by inches from you on the wrong side of the road. Plus, he’ll stand up for you if local government officials try to push you around. A++++++

The ride was fun. The staff was friendly. We visited a variety of places. Did a little shopping at some stops. The distillery tour was interesting with an informative guide. Had lunch at a really good restaurant. Our bike guide, Quinn, was great - informative, friendly, and watched out for our safety on the road. Definitely recommend.
