Overview
This tour offers a chance to ride through the longest disused rail tunnel in the Southern Hemisphere. A wonderful way to experience beautiful and varied scenery from lush tropical-like forest to a.variety of agricultural enteprises, urban and ocean settings. The Rutherford Memorial is totally worth a stop and is just 30 meters off the trail though it looks like more on the map. The Grape Escape is a delightful, delicious flowered stop for lunch and a chance to reprovision at the nearby market. The bike shop staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
