Overview
This experience combines a tour of the Madonna del Latte winery just outside Orvieto with generous wine tastings. Take a guided walk through the vineyards and learn about the winery’s growing methods. This was such a delightful way to spend the afternoon. Leon and his family were perfect hosts, the wine was delicious, and we so enjoyed the opportunity to learn about his impressive dedication to his craft. We highly recommend this visit — and the wine!

My friends and I traveled to Orvieto from Florence for a day trip, and I am so glad we did!!! We have been traveling all over Europe for a month now, and I can confidently say this was one of the highlights of our trip. This place is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a winery experience. We loved learning about the vineyard and wines from Leon — the owner. He has such a passion for what he does. You can very much tell that it’s family-run, and the hospitality was top-notch. If you find yourself going to Orvieto, come here!!! It will not disappoint!

A wonderful 2 hour tour of this beautiful winery with some wonderful wines to sample. The owner and his wife were very accommodating and gave a thorough tour and background of history of the estate and the process for making these award-winning wines. A must for anyone visiting Orvieto.

A family-owned vineyard, their knowledge of wine-making is extensive, and their passion for their work is unfaltering. A highly comprehensive, educational tour of the grounds and the cellar was brought to a close with an opportunity to sample 5 wines while sitting on the terrace overlooking the Tuscan landscape. A truly worthwhile experience.
