Great information, very comfortable and great choice of drinks. They picked us up and drove us around for an hour. Explained the history of the town and showed us examples of all the different influencing periods. Very passionate about the town and great way to start your stay in Palermo. Do this first thing when you arrive!

This was advertised by Viator as an all day tour. When our driver showed up (late) he said it was ONE hour and wanted 200 Euro more for a 3 hour. So not a warm welcome to Sicily. Definitely look elsewhere for your tour.

Anyone considering booking this cruise car should be very aware of exactly what you are booking. We were on a cruise and booked this tour back in July for 6 adults in early Oct. At that time there was only 1 option available. We booked "Grand tour in cruisecar" which should have been a 3 hour tour. When we arrived in Palermo, we found the guide who led us to the car. We toured the downtown area and after 1 hour he pulled over and said the tour was over. We were all shocked. I waited until we got home to contact Viator. I produced all the information and screen shots confirming we had a "Grand tour" booked. They insisted we had the "Historical 1 hour tour" booked. We paid a total of 422.00 Canadian for 1 hour. When I go into the website the Historical 1 hour tour prices up at 249.90 for 6 adults which to me would have been more reasonable. They refuse to refund us any money. They took our money and didn't give us the tour we booked, and overcharged us for the tour they gave us. We will not be using this company or Viator in the future. We feel completely ripped off.

Amazing! Incredible tour!

We did the Grand Tour in CruiserCar at sunset. It's so worth it! What an incredible tour. Our driver was Pietro, very friendly, we communicated via WhatsApp and he picked us up next to our guesthouse. Pietro welcomed us and offered us a beer. The car was lovely, spacious and beautiful. There was a cooler with drinks and a box with snacks for us to enjoy. During the journey Pietro informed some facts about the streets we passed through. The first stop was at a kind of pier near Sferracavallo, the sun was starting to set, the view was stunning, wonderful. We stayed 15 minutes. Next we went to Isola delle Femmine to finish watching the sunset. At this point Pietro gave us a bottle of Aperol and sparkling wine, we opened the snacks and were able to enjoy the sunset. We stayed there for about 40 minutes. It was magical and worth every penny. We apologized to Pietro because we spilled some sparkling wine in the car but he quickly helped us clean it up and forgave us.

Only the historical part was nice. No story telling during the tour at all. We didn’t learn anything about the history of Palermo. The car was really nice. Way way to expensive for a 3 hour tour. We had many of private tours in cities over the world and never we had a tour with no communication.

Dear Kirsten, It seems clear to me that there was a small misunderstanding. Here are some clarifications: Choice of purchase: All details of our service are exposed in a transparent manner. Before proceeding, you had plenty of time to evaluate and decide if it was the experience you were looking for. No one pushed you to buy our service. Freedom to interrupt: At any time on the tour, if you felt dissatisfied, you were free to interrupt the experience. We would have understood and provided for a refund. However, you have chosen to continue, hopefully admiring the 3 hour and half of scenic beauty of Palermo. Consumption: I'm glad you enjoyed our vehicle, but it seems that you neglected the well-kept amenity that accompanied it. ou have consumed the Prosecco, Coca-Cola, tea, oranges, juices, chips, dried fruit, water and other snacks that are part of our standard. Expectations: This is critical. Although our drivers have knowledge about Palermo and can share anecdotes, they are mainly drivers, not certified historians or bilingual tour guides. The centrepiece of our service is to offer a unique driving experience, presenting the places of interest in Palermo. Value of the offer: Regarding the cost, to put things in perspective: a simple Uber Van from the centre of Palermo to Mondello for a 20-minute journey costs 60 euros. Or the "gnuri", who for an hour asks for 80 euros and transports a maximum of three people, often at the expense of the welfare of horses. You, on the other hand, have been aboard a Mercedes unique in the world with a private licensed chauffeur for 3 hour and half, itinerary and consumptions. For future reference and for anyone reading: Our service can be customised. If you would like to delve deeper into the history of Palermo with a dedicated guide, drone photographer, sushi and oyster, Moet, flowers on board, or any other bespoke experience, let us know, like other clients often did. Our aim is to make sure your journey is exactly what you want In conclusion, each service has its own unique flavour and, sometimes, expectations need a slight recalibration. We hope that future travellers will take a moment to fully understand our offer and take maximum pleasure from the experience. I forgot that smoking,you smoking without permission and burned a piece of upholstery and left the car very dirty wine on the floor beer on the floor crisps in the seats etc Best regards, Gabriele
