Great guide, great tour- would have liked more focus on food

The guide was excellent- very personable and a good storyteller. Lots of fun. The only reason I gave this tour 4* instead 5 is that I thought it would be more focused on the food. It was really an historical walking tour with some food included. The food part was excellent, and if I hadn't already done a historical walking tour of Palermo two years ago, I might have been more interested in the history...but I had already done that, so I was looking for something more food-focused. The only thing I would suggest is that at the end, our guide was kind enough to take my family and me over to the section of the city where they do all the grilled meats- she ordered for us before going home (these were definitely locals we were with!) She did not have to do this for us, so we were very grateful, but it would have been great if the tour ended here, giving us the option to try some of the BBQ meats (at our expense), which were delicious!

This was a very fun and informative tour. The guide is a Palermo local and knows all about the area and is able to give commentary during the tour. The tour stops at a few key areas and takes you through one of the main markets. Overall a great experience.

Had better food tour

It was ok. The history of the city and cathedral was good . For food side it was ok. I asked about the coucous festival that is held in Scilly every year and was kinda brushed off. And kinda lost interest after that. Maybe expected too much out of the tour I don't know.

What an amazing experience! Fabrizio was an outstanding guide who gave us a thorough and enjoyable tour of Palermo (our first time in Sicily). Moreover, the food he shared was a highlight of our whole trip. From the chickpea fritters to the cannoli (see photo), the food was delicious and memorable!
