Horrid tour of a Beautiful Place

This tour was awful. It was supposed to be small group, and it was. However, they crammed eight people into a van with six seats! The tour of Pamukkale was ok, but then the van (without air conditioning) drove us to another town 20 minutes away to a buffet lunch that was horrible! Food that had been left out for hours and hours, huge tour buses, and filthy restrooms. I would not recommend this tour company to anyone. Then at the buffet. the guide and driver left us, pointing to another driver and say he'd take us back. He did, but it was very uncomfortable. Not the experience I was expecting.

Enjoyed it but not worth booking a private tour guide

The tour guide was super helpful, friendly and informative. In the description, it does state that the fee includes admission into the thermal pools but then it says the fees aren't included which is a bit confusing. Anyway we had to pay extra at the end of the experience which ruined the whole experience and vibe. Pamukkale city is quite small already and a tour guide is needed unless you enjoy listening to the history of the city. A history which some don't really believe it but find fascinating. There's so many hotels at a walking distance to the pamukkale thermal pools and Cleopatra pool. A paid all day tour isn't really needed. I wouldn't recommend the tour to anyway since the area is small and it's easy to get around with a map or by using Google. The tour guide also took us to different shops for shopping and not really to historical sites. We did enjoy ourselves but won't book a tour guide for pamukkale.

TERRIBLE & MISLEADING!!!

We have done a number of tours with Viator on this particular trip. However this tour did not meet our expectations. First of all, our guide, Ahmet, and our driver, Kasim, was great, but the tour operator's description was very misleading. Firstly, when I booked online, it says the tour operator was Excursiongo. But the tour operator that reached out to us is from Payless Turizm -- I don't know if Excursiongo and Payless Turizm are one and the same, just different name and different phone number...? My tour confirmation says that "Entry/Admission - Hierapolis & Pamukkale" was included. But when we got there, Ahmet told us that it did NOT include the ticket to actually go INTO the Hierapolis, which cost an additional 700 Turkish Lira! Who takes people to the main attraction and then not provide the tickets to get in?! I contacted METE through WhatsApp and requested for a refund of the 700TL, and was told that their tour does not include the entrance fee. WE PAID $60 PER PERSON FOR THIS TOUR!!! Needless to say, we were very, very disappointed!!!

Our website has been updated a long time ago by us both at Viator and Tripadvisor which clearly states that the entrance fees are not included as it is charged by the government but not by us. The website has not been updated by Tripadvisor. It will be their responsibility.

Not a good experience

We have done a number of trips with Viator in many countries and it has always been good which is why we give the extra money compared to other tour companies which are cheaper. However this trip just does not match our expectations of Viator. The lunch provided was so bad that nobody in our group ate lunch. It was so frustrating especially after a very long day. We had to go back to a restaurant after the trip to have some food. Anybody booking this trip, please be aware of this. We will not be taking any more tours with Viator that offers a buffet lunch.

O passeio é muito caro pra o que oferece. No meu caso ainda o site me ofereceu informações erradas e incompletas. O passeio consiste na van que leva a um ponto com águas termais, depois se passa em 2 lojas: uma de vinho e outra de jóias. O que realmente interessa é o parque de Pamukkale, cuja a entrada não estava incluída no preço. O guia, depois de termos concluído o passeio, me cobrou as entradas inteiras enquanto ele já tinha nos feito entrar com sua carta de guia. Não tive nem a opção de comprar no guichê. Tive que pagar em espécie. Havia compreendido no site que apenas o acesso a piscina de Cleópatra era a parte, mas ele me cobrou todo o acesso. Logo, não recomendo.
