We had an awesome tour with Leo, who blended his local and national knowledge of Plitvice Lakes National Park and Croatia with the tour. It would have been nice to see the upper lakes, but bad weather caused by heavy rains prevented it. However, Leo more than made up for it by being a great tour guide! Hvala vam!

The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the series of interconnected lakes, each adorned with vibrant hues ranging from emerald green to azure blue. Walking along the wooden boardwalks that meandered through this aquatic paradise felt like traversing a dreamscape, where time stood still, and nature's symphony echoed through the air. One of the most enchanting moments was witnessing the Veliki Slap, the largest waterfall in Plitvice, as it thundered down into the canyon below. The sheer power and majesty of this natural marvel left me awestruck, a humbling reminder of nature's raw beauty.

Leo was a great guide. He took all the stress away of trying to find our way around in winter having driven there from Zagreb for the day and having to get back to a concert in time. When we missed the shuttle back (as it oddly left just as the passengers on the last boat emerged into view), Leo arranged a transfer from the local hotel for us so we could get driving back to Zagreb in time. The park is beautiful.

With limited time to navigate the Plitvice NP we met Leo at the entrance and he showed us to all the best places to take great photos and to some the history of memorable sites within the park.

We weren't sure what to expect other than just an absolutely beautiful nature walk but Leopold changed that! From the moment he greeted us to the end of our tour he was absolutely wonderful! For us, Leopold made us feel more like he was showing some friends his country's national park. We never felt like a customer. He was very informative about the area. We would definitely recommend and we would definitely do it again, especially if you can have Leopold as your tour guide. He was phenomenal!!

We had the best experience exploring the lakes with our guide Leopold over the past couple of days. His passion and enthusiasm for the lakes were infectious and his storytelling so wonderful. He kept us entertained and interested as we walked many kilometres around the park; the fact that my 13 & 15 year old didn’t moan is testament to him. I would definitely recommend having him accompany you around the lake as it truly enhanced the experience. Plitvice Lakes is stunning and more beautiful than we ever imagined. Highly recommend.

This is a Croatia must do! The pictures do not do it justice. I’m so glad we booked a tour. Yes, you can wander around on your own, but this was so much better. Leo was an amazing guide. We got some great history; fun facts, and spectacular pictures. He was the best photographer, since he knew all the good angles! Wear comfy walking shoes. We got stops for coffee and lunch(buy yourself). I would do this tour again, it was that good. Leo even answered questions for restaurants for other cities we were traveling onto. He wanted to ensure everyone loved Croatia as much as he does.

The lake views were amazing and unique. Our guide Leo (Léopold) made the tour very informative. Leo was very helpful and accommodating to everyone and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend him as a tour guide.

Our guide was nice but we only used them because there were no tickets available directly because this company buys them all out then sells these terribly overpriced guides. They charged like $250 euro plus park admission of another $110 euro for a walk around the park. It said group of 15 but ours was over 23 people ( I lost count). Couldn’t see. Couldn’t hear. Going in a group this size virtually ensures you will be in a crowd the entire time.

This guided tour was one of the best tours I’ve been on in Europe. Plitvice Lakes National Park is a majestic place with so much history. Our tour guide, Leopold, was exceptional! He went out of his way for the tour group to ensure that everyone was having a great time and safe. He also gave recommendations on where to eat, other things to do in the area and places to see/visit. He was also very funny and kept things light. Humor goes hand in hand with memorable vacations. Now, imagine that in multiple languages! highly recommend this tour guide!!!
