Seeing the forts from different angles and just being on the water. Also knowing the schooner was 99 years old and having it still in use. It was a perfect sailing day!

What a fun way to just get a feel for Portland. If you are looking for a "guided tour", this isn't for you, this is just a wonderful trip across the bay under sail. The captain and crew will answer any question you have about the area but mostly they just let you enjoy the ride.

Really wonderful experience. The crew was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The trip around the bay was smooth. We saw some seals and even got a glimpse of a bald eagle! I would highly recommend this tour for a relaxing trip around the bay.

My daughter and I were on the Timberwind and had a wonderful time! It was a relaxing cruise although we got help out with the sails. Great fun! The crew were was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend.

Very relaxing sailing around Casco Bay for a few hours. You head out towards Prak Island, passing Fort Gorges. Then around House Island making your way back past Bug Light.

What an experience and what a gorgeous boat! The cruise led us around the harbor that's steeped in history. The captain and his crew invited us to participate in raising the sails, how fun, and we saw two seals while cruising, so cute! We learned about Portland's harbor history and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Be sure to dress for the wind , it gets really cold out on the water!

OK, here's my sad story.... Booking through you, Viator, for a Sunday cruise for 2 sisters and myself ....upon arrival for our scheduled Sunday 10/16 @ 1100, they had no record of it and no room. Same for 1300. Of course we were disappointed (and disgusted) at this POOR customer service, but ended up improvising with a MUCH BETTER experience with another company.
