Highly recommend this tour! The bike shop staff and tour guide was so friendly and helpful from the minute you walked through the doors. The ride was scenic and beautiful. It was a bit challenging at times going up the hills but it made it all the more fun! It was a great way to see a lot of lighthouses in one shot. Don’t hesitate! Book it!

We had the most amazing time! We lucked out with a beautiful sunny day but it was November so very very cold. The tour was still amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The tour itself was extensive and we learned so much about South Portland, the light houses and just general cool facts! The scenery was beautiful and captivating. Very old timey feel. It was definitely a great way to spend a Saturday in Maine and get some excersie. At the very end we arrived back and they had hot chocolate ready for us! The hospitality was unmatched and we would definitely do this again sometime soon! Thank you so much for a great experience! :)

This tour really exceeded our expectations. The shop was easy to find, the owner was friendly and welcoming. The equipment was in great shape. Our tour guide, Ross, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the sites. The length, pace and terrain were all terrific! The lighthouses were beautiful and interesting. Lunch was a delicious lobster roll in a picturesque outdoor setting. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

So much fun! We rode with about 4 other couples through the streets and parks of Portland. We saw a few Lighthouses and the views were amazing! I don't ride very much so there were a couple of hills that I got off my bike, but the ride was really not that difficult. The guides were patient and safety conscious. We were so glad we found lighthouse bikes tours!

Jill was a great guide. She was well versed in the Lighthouses and all the additional stops along the way. She was also very concerned for everyone’s well being. We totally enjoyed the afternoon. The “lobstah” lunch was fantastic!

The weather yesterday couldn’t have been any better for this bike tour of south Portland. Louise was a great tour guide! The bikes were in great shape and easy to maneuver. I will say (at my husband’s suggestion) this is not for the faint at heart. There are hills and we kept a decent pace when we weren’t stopped at a lighthouse. (And we only go to 3 lighthouses, not 4. You see a 4th but it’s not an actual visit it it).

Why Bus When You Can Bike The Lighthouses!

We had a lovely time on this tour! The lighthouses featured were worthy of the ride, and it was a wonderful way to get up close and personal with the neighborhood of S. Portland. We came off of a cruise, and one can take a medium length walk to the tour, or take the city bus for $2.00. Easy, clear check in, bikes in excellent operating condition, and groups were manageable in size. Most of the tour is via bike path, or quiet streets. Visiting Portland Head Light by bike was just as much of a treat as the lobster roll. Allie was a terrific guide and brought personal touches to the tour. Loved the hi-viz helmets for the group! Great Day!

The best bike tour we’ve experienced highlighting points of Interests in lovely Portland, ME. The scenic bike ride through beautiful trails and parks made for a wonderful experience. The highlight was the Lobster Roll food truck stop at Fort Williams. Simply DELISH and the best lobster roll we’ve had on this trip!
