This tour allows visitors to walk side by side with African elephants on this guided stroll through the bush. With keepers accompanying you, learn about the biology, behavior, and conservation status of these large mammals. Ben was a great guide. However, the experience only starts at 7:30 for very far away people. From the airport lodge it started at 8:15.
Ben contacted me by What’s App a few days before the tour. That was quite reassuring! The Elephant Sanctuary is wonderful. There is a mom and her two daughters who are friendly. The mom hugged me goodbye with her trunk. Quite a memorable experience! Ben was also my guide to Pretoria and because we didn’t have to go back and forth he suggested the Lesedi Cultural Village. It was a two hour professional program that included drumming, visiting & learning about 5 different villages of 5 different tribes then a dance program. I loved it! Then the Pretoria tour was fabulous

Ben was a great tour guide and driver! He went over and above to make the experience memorable. The elephants were amazing and it’s great to know that they are being protected from poachers.

Being up close with a magnificent elephant was the experience of a life time. I found out she really likes mint and the wonderful guides picked some and allowed me to feed her.

How can you not love playing follow-the-leader, with 3 elephants being the leaders? Being able to be so close to these margaritas creatures was an awesome experience. I felt safe the entire time, as the guide and handlers were right there and very professional. I am very happy to have done this excursion and to have supported a place that is actively involved in animal conservation.

Collected from hotel, personal transport by knowledgable driver of the area. Walk with the elephants was fantastic. The elephants are well cared for in their natural environment, safety of visitors paramount. Would recommend to anyone!

If you want to get up close and personal to elephants and be able to interact with them, then this is a must. I had the most amazing experience with these elephants and loved every minute of the tour although the time went far too quickly. I was able to pat and feed the elephants so this was a highlight. My guide was excellent and we had very interesting discussions throughout the tour. I just loved this tour.

The elephant tour was a fantastic experience and something I’d highly recommend. It was great to be able to spend some time with these gentle and fascinating animals and too be able to get so close. I was transported by Cindy who was really helpfuand had coffee waiting for me! Lunch was great too.
