For this Progreso Excursion, you will meet just outside of the duty-free stores that are right next to the ship. Once you pass the small shop area you will find an official tourist information stand and just right next to it a representative of SHORE EXCURSIONS MEXICO will be waiting there with a paddle/sign with their logo on it and a list with your name on it. THE ONLY people authorized to receive guest and guarantee service is Aaron Chi, Jose Arenas and Cristobal Figueroa. Please be aware that other companies will try to trick you saying they are Shore Excursions Mexico staff. Please ask for ID. Other meeting information: Progreso hotel guests will meet the "Shore Excursions Mexico" representative outside your hotel's lobby. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier. ASSISTANCE: If you are running late or have trouble finding the meeting location, please call our local operator "Shore Excursions Mexico" manager Cristobal at: +(521)-999-373-0341

What To Expect

Look for your guide, holding an official sign and a list with your name, at the centrally-located pickup point to begin your morning. Swiftly make your way to the beach club with your day pass, allowing you to enter without any hassle.

Take your time to discover the beach, as you have the freedom to explore at your own pace. Start by lounging in the white-sand beach, watching the waves and soaking up the sun.

Then, when you get hungry, head to the open bar for a refreshment and stop by the buffet to refuel with delectable Mexican dishes.

After you've eaten, enjoy the child-oriented swimming pool and take a ride in a kayak. Head back to your accommodation after a day of fun and relaxation by the ocean.

The guide we met up with was rude when I seen her name was not one of the 3 I was given to meet with. The food was decent. Kept getting hassled by people selling stuff. People demanding tips. The water was very murky which couldn't be helped.

Let me start by saying we didn’t leave the port for an hour it took an hour to get there the man that was driving the bus was almost out of gas he took us to the wrong place at first and then have to turn around and take us to the right place we spent four hours trying to get there we only had an hour and a half to stay at the beach and the iguana was everywhere The beach is very small we did not have a beach table you did not have a waiter it was a kind of self-serve type of thing just not cool at all I would not recommend

Overall a good experience, the ride from the pier was approximately 30 minutes each way. The ride is shared so there are other stops along the way. Due to the large sand dune the water at the site is not "crystal clear", but it is clean! The buffet is limited, but it does the job. The drinks were perfect! :)

Went to Sicler instead of Technohotel due to problems

We were actually taken to the Sicler beach club because the tour operator said they had problems with the Technohotel beach club. Sicler was wonderful and the tour operator Shore Excursions Mexico did a great job.
