We used Tangol for our private tour. Our tour guide Eddie was very thorough, and paced the tour based on our conditions (tired from a long trip, over 60+ in age, etc.). And their price is very reasonable. I would recommend them.

Disappointing!

Guide was inexperienced, spoke poor English, had a very limited vocabulary and gave little information about Iguazu Falls. When we asked questions of her, she gave minimal responses. Since this was a once in a lifetime visit, we were disappointed with our excursion.

Whole trip was a joy. Absolutely must to see the falls. I wasn’t sure about doing the boat ride but we were so glad we did. You really get a sense of the power of the water especially on the rib. Not a sedate ride an absolute thrill. You also get a great and completely different view of them. Go for it.

I don't see the point of this tour - the guide was nice but he spoke little english and did little for us that we couldn't have done on our own - we learned very little from him - he walked us around the park but we could have done that on our own - very disappointing given the very high cost

We didn't get to do boat ride. Everything was messed up. No one picked us up at airport, then tried to say we were supposed to be at hotel when I had called Viator over a dozen times to confirm provider knew to pick up at IGR. Then told us they went to airport in Brazil versus Argentina. So did not get any of original tour booked and paid for, need refund!

Although the boat cruise was enjoyable and lived up to expectations the rest of the tour was quite short and disappointing because access to the Devils throat was no longer available following floods 3 to 4 weeks prior. We felt very let down that we had not been advised of this situation beforehand so that we could have re-booked a trip from the Brazilian side instead which still had access to the Devils throat.

We had an excellent English, speaking guide named Gustavo for a private tour! That is definitely the best way to see both sides of the Falls. Being that the walkway to Devils throat was closed due to heavy, recent rains, he took us to the top of the Melia hotel, for a view of devils throat. Definitely not the same as an up close view would’ve been, but it is not anyone’s fault. Gustavo took his time with us on the walkways and was kind enough to hold our backpack while we went on the boat ride. The boat ride was fun but too short for the price you pay! The only complaint I have is that I was told to purchase my tickets online ahead of time from a message I received from Viator, and I was charged excess fees in Argentina taxEs. Once we were on the tour, I found out we could’ve bought them for a lot cheaper at the gate on Argentina side. Viator needs to inform people that you have options to avoid the excess fees and taxes of $26.

What a truly amazing experience and once in a lifetime tour! You can do Iguazu (Argentina side) in one day, you just need a bit of stamina to walk 20 thousand steps in a few hours. Our guide Sebastian was a true delight, we highly recommend him. Very thoughtful and pleasant, so knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and he paced the one day full tour just right so that we saw everything and were not too exhausted. He was super patient, deeply respectful of the local habitat, and knew so many stories and facts about the area. He made the entire experience so much more enriching for us all and was lovely to learn from all day. Now just one wrinkle, Tangol from BA (which is who the trip is contracted through on viator) gave us an earlier start time 7am than the local tour company had on their schedule(8am), so we did get up much earlier than needed only to wait around. This was entirely Tangol’s mistake not the local guide. Communication between them is key. Insist that Tangol puts you in touch with the local guide company so you can confirm it all for yourself.

To start, our guide Daniel, was amazing! His understanding of the park was deep and he was willing to share all his knowledge while leading us on an adventure through the jungles(excellent smooth paths). We took multiple paths to see the falls from many angles. We saw monkeys,Toucans and of course a close up and personal view of the top of the falls. This park will take your breath away. This is a must do tour!

Great way to optimize your day at Iguazu

Guide picked us up from the hotel and got us into the park, helping us to skip large lines. We visited during Carnivale so crowds were heavy. Our guide was able to prioritize what we did and optimize our time in the park. Of note, you can wear a bathing suit in the boat and change into dry clothes afterwards in a changing area nearby. We were not aware of this and might have opted for this if we had known. It was a great experience overall.

Our guide was really good and worked hard to make this an amazing experience. It was a long, hot day and after covering 2 of the 3 walks we decided not to make the 3rd. It stated 'moderate walking' and our group cannot agree with that. It was fairly strenuous and in temperatures of plus 30C quite hard. There is a long walk to pick up the train to the Devils Throat and then a long walk from the train and back, so all in all there were a lot of kms covered. Admittedly the views were amazing and the falls are definitely a must see, but if you can do it over a couple of days Argentinian side particularly when it is very hot. Definitely worth doing.

Le bus etait tres propre, le chauffeur et le guide tres gentils et cordials. Les lieux sont propres, incroyable et inoubliables! Nous avons opté pour le speedboat, nous n'avons pas regretté c'etait le meilleur moment de la journée
