Your guide was great. Place was beautiful and fun but not for the out of shape. This is a challenging hike through some difficult terrain but fun to do. Great natural water slide and cliff jumps into water. Your going to get very wet and muddy but it’s all Greta fun and worth it. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and I would for sure do this again .

The absolute BEST part of our trip!!! Gabriella was so VERY sweet and kind!! Hanser was extremely patient and polite with all of the kids. We had sooooooo much fun with all of the tour guides!! I can’t remember all of their names. Can’t wait to come back and do it again…….with this group! Thank you for showing my family a wonderful and safe time!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great day and experience!!!

Alejandro and his co-guide were very safe and diligent to the group. They are pleasant and extremely helpful. Without them we could not have achieved the challenging areas of the hike. Highly recommend this journey!!!! So fun and the teenagers loved it
Challenging hike, but worth it
David_U, Apr 2024
The hike itself is not for beginners or people not in very good shape. The trails are rocky with lots of roots, so you really have to pay attention where you step. There are also a few very steep climbs and descents, so it’s very important to be wearing the right type of shoes. The waterslides and swimming holes were great. Make sure you wear what you’re going to swim in because the bathroom is rustic, to be kind, so I changed on our bus. The guides were awesome and knowledgeable and truly entertaining.
Great family excursion

Book this excursion now - best hike ever!! My girlfriend and I had the most memorable trip to El Yunque with the best tour guides we could have asked for. G and the crew were all amazing, funny, informative, and made safety a priority. It was a seamless trip from pick up to drop off. The views were amazing and the water was so clean and refreshing to jump into! There are so many things to do (waterfalls, cliff jumping, and rope swing!) The crew made our group feel like family - we were all cheering each other on. After El Yunque we even got to stop at Luquillo beach for lunch - we had delicious food and got to see a new beach! It was the perfect day and worth every dollar!
Great experience :)

This was an amazing experience! Our guide Alejandro was very energetic, informative, and helpful throughout the whole tour. He also made us feel very safe and provided us with encouragement during the more difficult parts of the hike. I would definitely recommend booking this tour if you are hoping to explore El Yunque.
Fab!!!

FABULOUS!!!! the hike, waterslides, and rope swing were wonderful and we got a great lunch afterward!!! *NOTE* bring close toed water hiking shoes, also, the hike is more intense than you would expect, it’s TOTALLY worthwhile and I loved it, wear sunscreen too lol
Great time except the food/souvenir stop

The rainforest and waterfalls were excellent. The guides were very friendly and nice and helpful with hiking the rocky & rough terrain. The only negative to the experience was we stopped on way back at a strip with food and souvenirs which was fine. We were told we had 30 mins and be in bus at 3:30. We then didn’t leave until after 4:00 bc “some people” wanted to stay longer which was not anyone we spoke to on the bus. We waited over 30 mins on a hot bus with no communication we were staying longer. Then the long hot ride back to drop off. This unfortunately just left a bad swing on the end of the day. Better communication would have helped. We wouldn’t have sat waiting in the bus for the extra 30 mins. There were probably 15-20 just waiting and wondering what was going on. The guides took excellent pictures and gave to us all free of charge which was so nice and often these deals charge for such. It was a great experience! Just wish better communication with the stop departure.
Totally lame

After waiting 40 minutes to be picked up, a school bus finally arrived. The bus was completely full and there was no room for us. We asked for a refund, were told by Javier of the tour company Turisteando En El Encanto LLC that we could get a refund. We then contacted Viator since we booked through them and the refund process was initiated. I just got a notice from viator saying our refund was denied and that Turisteando claimed we were the ones who didn't want to go because we could not sit together. Of course we would have liked to sit together as a family but THERE WAS NO ROOM on the bus as everyone was crammed on there. There were 2 seats for the 4 of us. I guess they wanted us to stand? We ended up driving ourselves to the waterfalls and it was super easy to get to them. Do it on your own or use a company who doesn't cram a bunch of people on a school bus and have such a big group with no room.
Excellent!

My cousin and I had a great experience with our Group. It was such a memorable time. Great way to end my birthday trip to Puerto Rico. Will definitely recommend this to anyone visiting. A 10/10 experience.
Best experience!

Hanser , G , Jean and his team were amazing! They made sure everyone was safe and having fun. They did not rush but made sure we kept pace. Compare to other tours going around, we definitely had the most fun team!
Great tour and guides

The tour guides were very attentive and knowledgeable about the different areas of the rainforest. They made the tour fun and even provided us with water and snacks. The pick up and drop off points were very easy to navigate as well.
We weren’t sure what to...
Eric_R, Mar 2024
We weren’t sure what to expect based off of the reviews read. This specific tour requires quite a bit of physical effort. We got extremely muddy, walked through and along the river to the trail. Negotiate boulders, climb rocks, and over roots. This continued throughout most of the 30 minute hike. This is an adventure! We loved and wished it was longer. The natural water slides are not long but fun. Listen to the guide on how to go down the slides. There are multiple cliff jumps of different sizes. The rope swings are fun but not high. For me, the best part was the climbs, I could’ve went all day. It was more crowded than I’d liked as multiple tour companies use this spot. Our guide Hanser took pictures and airdropped them when we were done. He also took us by maybe the best sandwich shop I’ve been to on the way back. Authentic and inexpensive compared to the resorts. Some cautions, shoes are recommended by the company for good reason, you cannot go barefoot and need good grip. They will get wet as you wear them the entire time. Possibly ruined. You can and more than likely will het scraped up or scratched at some point. This is all part of the adventure. Highly recommended.
Great experience in El Yunque, would definitely book again

Our guides (Alejandro and Sevas) were fantastic! They had great senses of humour and were also very helpful when we were doing the more difficult parts of the hike, giving boosts and footing advice during the trickier climbs. Also, the place we stopped for lunch afterwards (at your own expense) was great--a little place on the side of the road with authentic food and delicious fresh fruit smoothies.
Fun adventure
Shannon_M, Feb 2024
The adventure of the hike to get to the waterslides was an experience on its own. Too difficult for my 7 yr that stayed back but my 10 yr old loved the adventure of it.
Excellent Trip!!
Michael_M, Feb 2024
Alejandro is an excellent and entertaining guide that really made the hike enjoyable, fun and exciting.

Recommendation for amazing landscape

El Yunque Adventure was AMAZINGGG
Imani_A, Jan 2024
Alejandro was a great tour guide, he was very informative and knowledgeable. I would recommend to NOT wear water shoes or sandals and to bring hiking boots or hiking sneakers. The hiking trail was very muddy and rocky so just be aware.
