    Watching and hearing the penguins, sea lions and sea birds was all very memorable. Rafael, our guide, was extremely cheerful, pleasant, fair, and helpful as could be. His English was at times difficult to understand, but he seemed to try to go above and beyond what other guides might attempt to do. He made the trip more enjoyable. Be sure to bundle up when visiting these islands as it is windy and cold.

    Interesting experience for observing wildlife

    Watching and hearing the penguins, sea lions and sea birds was all very memorable. Rafael, our guide, was extremely cheerful, pleasant, fair, and helpful as could be. His English was at times difficult to understand, but he seemed to try to go above and beyond what other guides might attempt to do. He made the trip more enjoyable. Be sure to bundle up when visiting these islands as it is windy and cold.

    Had a wonderful experience. The whole tour was well organized.All on time. I had to get a bus from punta arenas , they dropped me off close to my hotel so I can get on the bus … thanks to the driver, & Ina the front desk at solo expedition to put all in place. Thanks

    Great trip and lovely guide. It was definitely cold and windy, but still a unique and memorable experience. Wear warm layers and maybe a scarf to protect your face. Honestly after 5 minutes into the walk i was too excited about penguins to be bothered by the cold anymore. Not too choppy of a ride, but it is small quarters as its inside a speedboat. Thank you for the hot chocolate!

    I had a great experience. The crew and the guide were very pleasant. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the local flora and fauna and were able to answer my questions.

    Make sure you get to tour operator early as there was only 1 operator at desk and people where lining up to pay, meaning we missed the first bus out as we where still in the line regardless of having prepaid. The operator's microphone stopped working so he had to yell both in english and spanish and each time he had his back to us which meant we couldn't really hear anything. The walk around the penguins was amazing and one little guy even decided to try and get my shoelaces.

    So fun to see the Magellanic penguins and their babies!!! Tour guide was very informative about the penguins as well as the other birds on the island (Kelp seagulls). Half day activity

    We had a great time seeing these little penguins. Arriving at the office in the morning was a little confusing as there were a lot of people standing outside but nobody knew what the process was, however once we got on the bus and took the boat, the tour guide and crew were amazing!!! It was one of the highlights of our trip!

    Fabulous crew on the catamaran! They made me, a solo traveler, feel right at home. And it was great to see the Magellanic penguins on Isla Martillo and the sea lions on Isla Marta. I love those penguins! The highlight for me was getting a shot of a penguin in its nest with two babies! It’s something I will always treasure. It was a great day hanging out with penguins and sailing on the water. I highly recommend this excursion.

    Great chance to wander among the penguins! Fun tour all round. Super friendly guides. Things to consider: Oh boy, that island is windy! And the journey to/from the island can be a little dicey with rough seas... so, beware / be prepared if you're not a good sailor. We weren't able to go to Marta because of the rough seas... but I hear that's not unusual - and the penguins really are the stars of this tour.

    I feel it was worth the price. The bus pickup was organized and near our hotel. It was a short ride to the boat and then about 45 minutes to the island. Be aware that the water is often extremely choppy. I was on the good drugs so I had no issue but MANY people became seasick. The penguins were just as fun as you want them to be. Adorable and often times only a few feet away. The island was windy, but interesting as well. I recommend this as a day trip.

    chance to walk with thousands of penguins as well as sea gulls in their natural habitat in their nesting area was fantastic. In addition, the boat tour included a round about that gave a view of hundreds of sea lions

    My wife and I have done Viator tours all over the world and have always been satisfied. But this one was probably the coolest one yet. Very professionally run and just an awesome experience! We chose it after reading not so great reviews about the king penguin tour which takes over 12 hours. Very glad we did!

    It was a great experience seeing the penguins and the seals. The staff was very friendly. My biggest complaint is the guide did not use a microphone while speaking so I could not hear her most of the time because of the boat noises.

    A experiência é incrível, navegar pelo estreito de Magalhães, a cor do mar é linda e encontrar baleias pelo caminho enriqueceu mais ainda. Caminhar entre os pinguins e gaivotas, super amigáveis, foi um momento único. Guias simpáticos com informações úteis e complementares às que temos em Livros e documentários foi ótimo, mas parabéns Rafael, mas não Stefano e Francisco(tem um domínio incrível do barco). Nossa embarcação era pequena, Santa Isabel, o passeio foi ótimo.
