What To Expect

Be ready for convenient late-afternoon pickup at your hotel in Ras Al-Khaimah. Climb into an off-road vehicle with your guide and group, then relax in air-conditioned comfort and leave the desert driving to the experts.

Watch the city scenery turn into desert dunes, stopping first at a camel farm to observe the animals and learn about the different types that populate the area.

Arrive at a campsite deep in the desert, where you will sip some traditional Arabic coffee and eat some dates as a welcome refreshment. If you so choose, ride a camel for a tour of the encampment or get a henna tattoo on your feet or hands. Watch a traditional tannorah folk dance, smoke shisha, and indulge in barbecue dinner under the stars followed by a belly dance performance.

Return to your hotel the way you came for drop-off.

This was absolutely fantastic trip, our driver was amazing his driving skills are top and it made the ride unforgettable. We really loved the show as well at the camp and camel ride. Overall we would highly recommend this trip as you will remember this for life.

Great time had by all. Dune safari fab and fun. Shows are great but thought there would have been a couple of belly dancers not just the one. The fire show is amazing and grand finale is WOW 🤩 Would recommend

Wonderful day in the desert. We did desert safari in the 4-wheel drive, admired the beautiful sunset, there was camel ride and henna too. The meal was excellent with the entertainment including belly dancing and fire display. Our driver Mohammad was excellent.

Lovely afternoon. Dune safari was excellent fun, with a great driver - Mohammed, who look after us. The bbq and show at the camp were well organised and entertaining. A short camel ride was included as well as soft drinks and sand boarding. Picked up from RAK at 3pm and back shortly after 9pm.

A fun afternoon/evening. Highlight was the view across the desert at sunset. Food was plentiful and the entertainment was 'entertaining'. Driver was a bit crazy on the journey!!

Something for everyone - a good value for money.

This tour has something for everyone. From thrill seeker to love of arts and culture. This tour has adventure: off-roading through the desert, dune bashing and dune buggy rides to camel rides, Arabic coffee and dates, a bar, buffet dinner and incredible middle eastern and fire dancers. If you do not like the dune bashing, you can stay at the camp or request a gentle safari ride. The dancers were incredible and so talented. Our driver Imran was so kind and generous with his time. The camp is better than I expected but a bit rustic. Don't expect much from the buffet meal - you get fed but it's not the reason for going. Areas of improvement: 1. better communication before the tour to confirm, etc.. 2. Less waiting time after adventure rides and the show and dinner begin

-The pick up at hotel was in time. -Well english speaking driver/guide -dune bushing was excellent. You feel yourselves safe and comf. -sunset in the dessert -Comfort at the camp. Try arabian coffee. -Food and other drinks average. -Camel riding possible -Show programm well performed -additional cost for quad is to high (80,-€ for two persons)

Thrilling afternoon in the desert

The desert sand, the dunes that we sadly bashed a few times, the sunset and the entertainment was thoroughly enjoyable. Nature at its best pulled out all the stops for us! Our 4wd driver and guide Hidayaat, did promise a fun safari which he did deliver. This was my second time although the last time was more than 10 years ago. I had forgotten what it was like. I could make it a hat trick just being out on the sands and the drive! Fab afternoon !

Very good tour started at pick up 1500 finished at 2000 could have been an hour shorter as there was a lot of time hanging around the camp not doing much. Camp was nice they have one camel you can walk a few paces on get another person to take pictures for you or you can buy from them at 75d each.

Everyone said this was a trip I must do and they were all correct. It is great fun if a little scary but we had a very good driver and always felt safe. The evening entertainment and food were excellent. A great afternoon and evening and the chance to get some fantastic photos.

Absolutely fantastic afternoon/evening. We were picked up from the hotel on time and were escorted by the driver who also picked up some more people from another hotel to where we were going. We were met by lots of other 4X4's and formed a type of caravan so we were not alone. The afternoon consisted of going over the dunes int he 4X4's which was tremendous fun and watching the sunset before we headed off the to dinner. The camp was lovely and the entertainment was really good. Only downside was the food wasn't anything to write home about. There were lots of staff who were trying to sell you alcohol, sand bottled, shisha etc but no-one was pushy and we were able to politely say no.They stopped asking once you did. All in all great value for money and if I ever went to RAK again I would definitely try and book this tour. This made our holiday.
