Excellent Guide- made the mosaic’s come to life. Negotiated the very busy Saturday crowds in Ravenna gentling steering us in the right direction and filled the walking sections with local colour and information about food, customs, local calendars- can recommend if you have limited time to see these marvels of Ravenna!

We had just one short day in Ravenna and this was the perfect way to see it. The mosaics are amazing, and our guide included other places of interest en-route, which was very helpful. His English was good and he was obviously very knowlegable. There were just 10 people in the group, a good number for a 'moving around' tour like this.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail. This tour is SUPER interesting and very worthwhile. These mosaics will absolutely blow your mind!! The tour lasted more than 3 hours for us, so something to keep in mind. This was so incredible!! Do it!!

A tour guide, no matter how knowledgeable, needs to respect his visitors’ time and stick to the schedule. As lovely as the places we visited were, he spoke to us at such length that often three tour groups would come and go before we left. A tour meant to be 2 hours became more than 3. A good tour guide needs to not only share important information, but also leave out secondary information.
