My husband and I took a tour on a Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t crowded at all. Our guide, Luana, was very sweet and knowledgeable about the mosaics and the history. Per our special request she also brought us to see a mosaics workshop. We were very happy with our tour and would recommend her as a guide to anyone visiting Ravenna wishing to see the mosaics.

Had such a wonderful time being shown around the highlights of Ravenna, by the very insightful and knowledgeable Luana. She took her time explaining the sights as we explored each venue and pointed out all the important historical information. We were even given an excellent recommendation of where to eat like a local from her.

Ravenna is breath taking. So much history from the 5th and 6th century’s. Luana brought it to life. We would not have appreciated all there was to see without her knowledge. Being photoshopped out of history started back then! She also managed to work the tour so we avoided school parties which was greatly appreciated. Ravenna has to be on everyone’s list to see. Highly recommended.
