Pickup details
At Mohogany Bay Port, we will pick you up 1 hour after your ship has docked. Once you disembarked your ship, you will proceed to the Main Exit gate, where your driver and guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with our company logo saying "Roatán Breakaway Tours" . You will walk up the concrete hill and down to the exit gate. You can also take a cab to the gate if you do not want to walk. For Coxen Hole, Port Roatan. We will pick you up 1 hour after your ship has docked. Once you are ready to disembark your ship, please proceed to Exit Gate #2, where your driver and guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with our company "Roatán Breakaway Tours". Once you disembarked your ship, you will just walk past all the vendors and to the Exit gate. At the exit, you will just look across the street for the company logo, "Roatán Breakaway Tours."

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Kailey was my tour guide and she did an absolutely awesome job. She was extremely friendly, knew the area well and pointed out different sites along the routes we followed. I asked her if we could stop someplace where I could look for some special gift items and she took me to this lovely little market shop and I found everything I needed with the assistance of the wonderful helpful staff. While we were at the Animal Park my guide was Dustin. Dustin made the experience fun with his knowledge of the animals and cute little fun stories. He was extremely patient while I interacted with the animals and took some awesome pictures for me. Everyone I interacted with on this nearly 3 hour tour made me feel like I was the only person on Roatan and they were taking a family member out on a day outing. I highly recommend to anyone to take this tour and specifically ask for Kailey as your guide!

Shiely made the tour amazing. She went out of her way to take us to where my husband wanted to go. The sloths were the best!!

This was a new company for me and my family. We were pleasantly surprised at the interaction with the sloths, birds and monkeys. The guide and the photographer were both great. We bought all the photos (134) for $40 and they were air dropped & downloaded immediately. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. All the animals were great. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Love how personal this tour was! It was a great surprise since I usually book excursions through the cruise ships and ur with a group of strangers. It was just me, my son, and our awesome tour guide/ driver Sheily. She was amazing! It was like driving around with a friend. We got to see and do everything with time to spare.

Everyone was amazed! From the zipline thru the trees to the animals to the chocolate factory. The highlight was spending time with the sloths and monkeys. Jay & Jayse (siblings) were outstanding guides and tailored the tour to the needs of the group. We would definitely take a tour with this company again!

Overall, I think the value was there for the tour we did, however...I do feel that having four people (2 couples) squeeze into a Hyundai Elantra for a tour is a little crazy. Especially when the two couples didn't travel together and didn't know each other before the tour. I wish we would have had more shopping opportunities on this tour for souvenirs instead of the one-stop we made at their preferred store. I also think it would make more sense to save the shopping stop until last so that we don't have to hang onto everything we purchase from tour stop to tour stop.

Its not a practice for us to group guest together and especially like you have sayed guest that are not traveling together, how ever there are times and situations we try to do the best for our guest by getting them safely to there activities and back to the ship on time. The reason for the tour not being private that day was because all the roads on the island are under construction and there was multiple ships in port the day of your visit and we tried to not get caught up in traffic and take any unnecessary time away from your tour , again we are sorry for any inconvenience and hope to be giving another opportunity to be of service and give you the 5 star service you deserve. Thank you again for making us a part of your memorable vacation.

Let me say the driver, Robert was fantastic and gets 10 stars from us! The issue was with the folks at the tour co who set things up. We specifically said we needed an accessible vehicle and they sent Robert in an extremely old and falling apart transit van. We could not step into it so Robert went all over looking for a stool to help us and luckily found one. When we arrived at, what we thought was AJS sloth and monkey sanctuary after fighting tons of traffic, and seeing that where we were was not one bit accessible, Robert informed us that the lady who set up the tour told him to take us here instead. We refused to get out and told Robert we want to go to AJs, and he immediately said he would take us and was unsure why “ the lady “ would have sent us to the other place instead. We finally arrived at AJs and absolutely loved it!! However from all the chaos and delay, we ended our tour and did not do any other stops we were supposed to. Again Robert was phenomenal and should be working at a better tour company because the planning of our day after we specifically asked for accessible was terrible

Hello Miss Lynn, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied your driver Mr Robert tried to avoid the traffic en route to AJs Facility because the roads are under construction and we didn't want you sitting in the car for long periods of time which wouldn't have been pleasant for you. Mr Robert is a very experienced driver and guide as to why he was chosen to take care of you during your visit and with all respect to you the bus he drived is not falling part and is used almost every day that there is a ship in port. The transportation is inspected by the port authorities in order to be able to take guest out on Excursions.
I can surely asure you that on your next visit i personally will take care of youre every need.

This was the only excursion I wanted on my recent Breakaway cruise. We met our guide, Ford at the designated spot. I will say this required asking a lot of people as it was our first trip to Roatan. We piled into his very nicely air conditioned suv and off we went. It was a very busy day so we skipped the Animal Park for last. The chocolate factory and rum cake factory were ok but I was there for the sloths. Ford did get some memorable pictures for us and the location on the hillside was beautiful. He showed us lots of points of interest around the island and then we got to the Animal Park and there we had the best time. Lots of opportunities for pictures and we all got to hold the sloths, macaws and several other animals. The flying monkeys were a big hit with us, they would go from person to person having a great time. I would definitely recommend this tour. Ford had lots of stories and lots of knowledge of the island. This was basically a 2 person tour and he was more than willing to show us anything we wanted to see

Loved our day in Roatan. We had a stop here on Christmas Day on our cruise. Lashan was fantastic, she made sure we were comfortable and gave us a great day on the island. The sloth adventure was just a short drive from the port. This was a great excursion for our whole group that ranged from 10-70. Lashan's communication prior to our arrival made everything so easy once we were off the ship! Highly recommend.
