Must do tour

We had such a great time on our tour. The staff was wonderful & knowledgeable at the hangout. We loved the chocolate stop (not an actual tour) and didn't make it to the rum shop (our decision). We had yummy tacos next door to the chocolate place instead. The beach at Roatan was beautiful. I wish they all accepted Venmo as I noticed not many people tip due to not carrying cash.

Overall it was a great excursion. We have seen a lot in those few hours. My daughter was disappointed that the Sloths were ripped away from us after twenty seconds

This was a fantastic excursion. The animal sanctuary was so much fun. The guide was wonderful. The chocolate and rum cake tasting were okay. We would do it again for the animal interactions. Totally worth it.

Our driver was able to take us earlier than we booked, which was great. He drove a nice clean vehicle. He answered my questions about the area and was very pleasant. We loved holding the sloths and the monkeys. At no extra cost. Was included in excursion.

No show driver

Driver never showed up. I spent an hour in the parking lot waiting in the sweltering heat. I expect a full refund for this waste of time and will NOT be booking with Viator again.

Thank you for choosing us and thank you for your feedback back this tour was book for the 1th of April 2024 and the driver was at the hotel that you selected for pick up but you did not show up not shore what really happened but he wait on you at the hotel for 2hours but you never show up

I loved seeing the sloths & monkeys but I feel we were rushed. Several other people saw other animal that I didn’t even know were there because we were not told & rushed.

Got just what we wanted on this tour--mingling with and holding sloths, monkeys, and macaws. Fun experience. Visited rum "factory"--meh. Could have done without it (and I'm a drinker). Chocolate factory was "ok". Right across from water, had some ice cream on a warm day. Our tour was supposed to last 4 hours. Lasted 2 1/2. Not their fault. Driver offered to take us other places, but majority of our 7 person group wanted to go back to beach near our ship. A little walk up a hill outside of Port complex to get to meeting point (no big deal), but at end they drop you off right near beach across from ship. All in all, a great, inexpensive venture around this beautiful Hinduras island.

Horrible excursion

Sitting in the back of a very small SUV. Legs didn’t fit and head hit the ceiling. Couldn’t see anything out the small window! Couldn’t hear what the driver was saying, even after nicely asking him to speak loudly. No photo stops included!!!

Our driver Terry was great! He made sure we all got to see and do that we wanted. He was also very friendly and funny! The animal park was an amazing experience interacting with monkeys, parrots and sloths.The rum and chocolate factories were okay. Would have like a few more scenic stops for pictures, but all in all would recommend this tour and do it again!

Holding & cuddling the little sloth was so special, but the private tour for just the two of us with Tommy in a car instead of a bus was delightful. Tommy was the best guide ever! Lots of helpful information and friendly atmosphere.

The animals were fantastic. So glad we took this trip. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only down size was the vehicle was very loud so the was absolutely no was to hear any comments on the ride but once we arrived it was great.

Sloth & Monkey experience was the highlight of the tour, chocolate factory a bit chaotic and Rum factory OK, did bring some home though, guide was excellent and was very knowledgeable being a local, very easy as picked up and dropped off at the cruise port

Steven (aka Fluffy) was our tour guide and he was amazing! He gave us a lot of information about Rotoan and he drove us to our destinations. He let us make extra stops and took us to some great shopping spots and a delicious local place for lunch. The only thing I would change is more time with the monkeys and the sloth. It felt a little rushed but that wasn’t Stevens fault. That was the workers at the hangout.

This excursion was amazing. Loved holding and playing with the sloths and monkeys. The Rum cake tour was awesome, there was plenty of cake and rum samples, this is definitely a must stop. Our driver Kislen with Roatan John Henry’s tours was by far the best. He was very knowledgeable and took us on an extra tour of the area. My husband realized, after we got back to the ship that he left his phone in the vehicle and Kislen was able to locate it and get it back to him. I would definitely go through Roatan John Henry Tours again and will definitely request Kislen.
