What To Expect

Your private Segway tour starts by meeting your guide in Rome's historical center. After a half-hour introduction and practice session to learn how to operate your 2-wheeled Segway, take off along Rome’s ancient streets.

Follow your guide past Campo de’ Fiori to Piazza Navona, where you can admire the plaza’s street artists and fountains. The cruise on to Capitoline Hill, one of the Seven Hills of Rome, to enjoy a view of the sites of ancient Rome before passing by the ruins of the Roman Forum. When you arrive outside the Colosseum, stop to take photos and listen to stories from your guide about the gladiator battles once held inside.

Next, zoom over to the Trevi Fountain, whose legend states that those who throw a coin into the water are sure to return to Rome. Throw two coins, and you’ll return to find love; three coins means you’ll also get married. Then head to the Spanish Steps for a photo op before gliding to the Pantheon, a stately ancient temple that you may enter, if it’s open.

Your tour ends when you return to the departure point, where you can enjoy coffee and water before saying goodbye to your guide.

Vicky was a great guide and gave excellent explanations along the way. The streets are always crowded; can’t imagine how the summer is navigating. Finding the office isn’t easy so get a detailed map! It’s a very small office in a courtyard area of the street across from a cafe. Do it!

The evening tour of Rome was the most fun and memorable tour of our four day stay in Rome! Ali was an outstanding guide and really made the tour personal for our family of four. In 3 hours , we experienced many sites we would not have seen on foot or by car alone. Highlights included the waters of Trevi fountain, jazz music at the riverfront, cobblestone streets through the shopping district, a gelato stop, and riding in Saint Peters Square to view the Vatican at sunset. This was an amazing evening of great family time! Thank you Ali for being such a terrific guide and for sharing yourself and Rome with us!

Wir waren begeistert: Es hat so viel Spass gemacht! Wir sind 3,5 Stunden mit Viktoria durch Rom gecruised und sie hat uns auf Deutsch viele interessante Infos geliefert.
