It was absolutely fantastic! Amy was a gracious hostess, the wines were delicious and we weren’t expecting the fabulous Italian pasta dinner at the end! I would highly recommend it for locals and visitors alike!

Tour guy was professional and knowledgeable. However the wine that was served at the first two stops was not of good quality. Given the price of the tour it should have been much better.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm so sorry that you didn't enjoy the wines at the first stops. At Vino Carta, they source wines from a variety of small, family-owned wineries from all around the world, and Pali is an urban boutique winery, sourcing grapes from Santa Barbara County. The wine we serve is varied to accommodate the various wine tasting preferences of our guests.

I enjoyed the wine and the pasta at the last stop. However, I felt the tour was over priced and would not repeat the experience.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry that you didn't find this trip valuable. We do try to give guests a good understanding of the area in a historical sense, as well as offer and wine tastings at 2 popular wine bars including a cheese board at one of them. I'm happy you enjoyed the pasta and wine at one of the stops!

I truly had such a traffic time on the "Vino! Vino! Little Italy Wine Tour" with Scott, I am so glad he was able to share his knowledge with us and take us on this worthwhile experience. Upon arrival, Scott warmly greeted everyone and was so friendly and courteous to the participants as if it was a group of old body buddies. We all were very comfortable and nobody had a dull moment the entire time. Everyone got to meet and have a quick review of what they are looking forward to on the tour. To say that Scott is knowledgeable and informed about the history of San Diego and its Little Italy neighborhood would be a true understatement. He energized the entire event to fit the group. His stories and personal experiences were so eye-opening and fascinating. At each location visited, we learned just about everything you could need to know about the wine and food and the country and region they came from, such a great way to get familiarized with Little Italy. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of authentic foods and goods at the establishments we went to and am thinking of going back to pick up some of the very interesting-looking items that he mentioned. After all those amazing and memorable experiences, Scott was so kind to point out more areas to be aware of and treat us to an incredible dinner down the street. I highly recommend this experience for anyone of any group size, for residents and visitors of San Diego. Scott was one of the most professional and friendly people I've ever had the pleasure of coming across, a truly down-to-earth individual who goes far above and beyond anything required to provide a memorable time. I give this experience a five star rating on all counts, I don't have a single complaint or criticism to mention whatsoever. I can, without a doubt, say that there are many things you can do in San Diego that are enjoyable, but this was one of the best things I've ever partaken in, and regardless of whatever else you've got going on, you ought to check Scott's tour out. I had so much fun, I can't wait to sign up for all the other tours that Scott's team offers, I'm definitely looking forward to them in the near future.

More food, less talk. There weren’t that many food selections on the tour and all the wine tasted the same. It was not worth the money I spent.

I'm sorry to find that you were not satisfied with our Vino tour. We try to offer a good amount of wine...4 half glasses, and 3 2-oz pours. As far as the food is concerned, this tour specifically doesn't focus too much on the food, but we try to offer some bites like calamari, meatballs, and bolognese pasta. The restaurants barely give us a break on this tour, since it's Saturday, and we reserve space at each one. I'm sorry you didn't see the value.
