Cool Mayan site
Marcel_Z, May 2024
Caracol is abiut 1.5h from San Ignacio, half the time on a dirt road, but it is pretty. I had an almost private tour - 2 people, so that was nice as well.
Great time!
Kara_A, Mar 2024
We had a great time touring with a great leader! Without them, we would never know the behind stories of the Mayan Ruins.
Great experience
Nicole_A, Mar 2024
This trip was amazing! The ruins are an incredible site as is Rio Frio Cave. The pools were a nice way to end a hot day. Our guide, Jason, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to.
Great tour, our guide was...
Bobber_G, Mar 2024
Great tour, our guide was great, knowledgeable about everything, and invited us to ask as many questions as we wanted to about the sites we visited and Belize in general.
More than worth the money!
Leigh_W, Mar 2024
We learned so much. Eddie was very knowledgeable and eager to share his love for this site. In addition to the ruins, he pointed out and told us about a number of animals, insects, birds, and plants. We are old and slow, and were never made to feel that we were holding the group back. Also, we were never left alone even though we said we'd be fine. Ronald (our driver) was very attentive and kind. Both men are to be commended for their professionalism. We'd highly recommend this tour and this company to anyone visiting the area.
Phenomenal tour & tour guide

Jason, our tour guide, did a phenomenal job! We highly recommend. Wear comfortable shoes. It's worth every climb. The views are breathtaking.
Fantastic trip! Our tour...

Fantastic trip! Our tour guide and driver were super friendly and informative. The ruins were amazing, and Rio On Pools were beautiful. It was perfect to be able to swim after hours spent at the ruins under the sun. Parts of the road to Caracol are unpaved and very windy, so if you get motion sick, be sure to sit in the front of the van.
10/10

Had a great time! Tour guides were amazing and had a lot of knowledge about the ruins. Also one of the only places that accepts solo travellers.
Excellent Tour!

This was our favorite day of our entire trip! Jazelle was an amazing tour guide- full of information and answered all of our questions. We were given a choice as a group if we wanted to go to the cave- we had to walk about 15 minutes to get there because the road was too muddy to drive on. The cave was a neat spot to stop and explore and on our walk we learned about the different plants around us. Caracol was an amazing sight- it was hot and lots of steps so be prepared! Not a lot of shade, but it was worth it! Lunch was good- chicken, rice, and beans with rum punch or sodas. The last stop at Rio on Pools was very cool. We are so happy we went on this tour and glad we didn't attempt to drive it ourselves-it would have taken us twice as long to make the drive! Highly recommend!
Excellent day tour
Rui_L, Jan 2024
Our guide Jason was very knowledgeable and energetic. Told us many stories about the ruins and nature around. The whole trip was fun and interesting. We were lucky to see howler monkeys.
One day in San Inglasia
Linda_R, Jan 2024
We started out our day by visiting a huge cave and headed down the long road to Caracol. Although the day began with some heavy rain our guide and driver (Tate and Pretty) were professional and experienced with driving and leading us in the rain. Caracol was amazing and we were afforded plenty of time to explore. A wonderful lunch was supplied before we headed to our final destination Rio Frio Pools. A highlight of our trip to Belize!
Great experience….
RICHARD_R, Jan 2024
Very nice trip….great guide who knew archaeology and birds. Road was in pretty good shape…do not be afraid of it. Caracol is not to be missed.
Worthwhile.
KEVIN_P, Jan 2024
The guide was knowledgeable and interactive, the driver was experienced and pleasant, the ruins were spectacular, and the river/waterfall swim was a refreshing end to the day.
Nice tour, but Rio frio...
Andrea_O, Jan 2024
Nice tour, but Rio frio cave was just in the title and never took into consideration to get there by the tour operator! Should not advertise things just to attract people
Great tour with Anselmo
Ashley_P, Dec 2023
Anselmo was our guide and he was an incredible guide. He is so knowledgeable and shares the stories of the Mayan people with such detail and color. He explained the importance of the structures as well as the carvings found on or near the structures. We had a little bit of rain but Anselmo kept us moving and tried to find shelter for us as needed. We had a simple lunch of chicken and rice and beans after, nicely plated for us and waiting after our tour of Caracol. The road to Rio frio cave was extremely muddy so we drove halfway there and walked the last 20 minutes (through the slick mud) and got to go into the cave still. That was also very beautiful. No one wanted to swim in the river after (this was mid-December and it was fairly chilly for Belize) but we stopped at a viewpoint above the river for views. The road to and from Caracol was extremely bumpy as it's a dirt road full of potholes but our driver managed it nicely but it was a little unnerving for me. So be prepared for those 90 minutes of bumps to and from the site!
Great experience

Great experience. Caracol was my favourite even after visiting Tikal and yaxha in Guatemala. Guide and driver were lovely and all stops were lovely
Discovering the hidden places of Belize
helbartuskova, May 2023
A very interesting trip. Driver and guide in one, friendly, safe and knowledgeable about the region. On the way there was a tasty lunch and drinks and a nice stop for a swim. I can recommend the trip.
Breathtaking!!
Manon_B, Apr 2023
Caracol was worth the drive! The vegetation along the way was breath taking and the ruins were nothing like I've seen before. Damian was super friendly, delicious lunch.
Once in a lifetime visit.
KYLE_A, Apr 2023
Jason and Mike, our driver, made our Caracol experience awesome! Mike was a phenomenal driver and navigated the bumpy roads to leading to Caracol with ease. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable of Caracol and Mayan culture. They both the made our tour excellent, highly recommend.
Well put together tour
Youa_Y, Mar 2023
The guide and driver were polite and knowledgeable. The tour is thoughtfully put together in that it breaks up the long drive to Caracol with a cave visit. The swim at the river was the perfect ending to a hot day.
