Highly recommend for your first time in El Salvador
Jillian_M, Apr 2024
Gab was an absolutely amazing tour guide. She taught us so much about the history of El Salvador and the local foods. She is a great driver and translator. I felt comfortable and safe everywhere we went. I highly recommend any tour with El Salvador Positive Tours that takes you to Rutas de las Flores and the hot springs. The coffee tour was nice and very informative, too. I loved getting to shop for souvenirs made by the locals and every vender was so appreciative of our support.
such a great day tour

An Excellent, Well-Rounded Tour

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was nice visiting the church, museum, and school. I really loved viewing the colorful murals throughout the various towns. The coffee tour was very good. I have attended other coffee tours in the world, but none walked us through each process step by step. It was fascinating. The hot springs were relaxing, and the food at the restaurant there was good; I only wish I had more time there. Gaby was an excellent tour guide, as she provided detailed historical and cultural information. The pace of the tour was adequate. I highly recommend this tour!
Gaby is the best tour guide!

Gaby was amazing. I was the only oerson on my tour so we talk the entire way there about the country and the citizens. Learning the culture and history of the Salvadoran people from Gaby was amazing. Her vast knowledge allowed me to get a better understanding of the country. I booked this tour the day before it happened and I am immensely happy I did!
FUN FUN FUN!!

This was such a fun tour! Josue is an excellent tour guide and such a gem of a person! He was amazing to tour the towns with and he was super knowledgeable! He really made you feel comfortable and at ease! I loved how much we got to see and do on this tour. I’d recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore La Ruta de La Flores. You will have so much fun!!

I had such a great time on this trip! I felt like I was able to get a ton of adventure in all in one day. I only had one day in El Salvador so this was a great experience to see some beautiful scenery and we kept busy. The hot springs was the perfect way to end the day and was super relaxing. I can’t wait to come back and visit again!
Great trip must try

Josie was the best hands down very informative, knowledgeable and patient person. He was a great host to have would definitely book another tour w him again
Underwhelmed: guide arrogant
Jane_G, Jul 2023
We were taken to Ataco, which is pretty, but I didn’t really want to buy stuff that was made in China. The guide left me alone as he wanted to “take pictures with the girls”. I had told him I had no network on my phone so when and where should we meet, but he just walked off, then told me off later because he “couldn’t find me” - although I’d gone back to the car. I found him arrogant and a bit ageist.
Fantastic tour! Really enjoyed!

Went on this tour with Josue and had a great time! We saw Nahuizalco and Ataco and learned about some of the history of El Salvador, tried some exotic fruits, and got great souvenirs. The coffee tour was great to learn about the labor that goes into making coffee. We also got to stop at Cafe Albania to go on the rainbow slide and I was able to do the pendulum swing as well which was super fun! The hot springs were also really nice - the Mayan mud treatment was $10 extra but left my skin really soft. Josue took a bunch of photos for all of us and airdropped them to us at the end of the tour. I was super happy with this!
Tour exceeded my expectations
Sandra_M, Jun 2023
The tour exceeded my expectations. Unbelievable what we experienced in just one day. A big thanks to our excellent and passionate guide Josue, who made the tour an unforgettable experience. We started at a market, where we could taste lots of fresh fruits. Then we even made a detour at the Rainbow Slide. We continued with exciting insights into coffee production and a stopover to the murals and stores in Ataco. Freshly strengthened from lunch, we went to the thermal baths to relax. I recommend the tour 110%!
The best experience I have ever had!
Ana_M, Jun 2023
This trip exceded my expectations. The tour is both a learning experience as well as a day of relaxation. For the first half of the day we learned about the History of El Salvadors Tribes and Indigenous Culture. We stopped by a small local museum where the neighborhood has preserved cultural artefacts from their ancestors. We also went to the local markets in a town called Nahuzalco where you can buy bags of tropical fruits for less than a U.S dollar. Additionally we were taken to a coffee factory where we learned about the process of coffee beans and how it is distributed/exported to many parts of the world. The place where the coffee production happens is surrounded by beautiful coffee plants and other natural beauty. The tour also provided us an opportunity to see Ataco. A local nearby town where they have the most beautiful shops, murals and other art galleries. Lastly we were taken to an amazing hot springs where we were able to get massages, lunch and a theraputic volcanic clay treatment. These services were not included in the tour package but were super affordable and worth the experience. This tour was made even better by our tour guide Josue who was so knowledgeable, patient, informative and kind. This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. 10/10!
Great experience.

Would definitely recommend this tour. Covered a lot of areas. Coffee plantation was very interesting. Lots going on in the little towns we stopped in. Saddened me looking at all the stray hungry dogs though 😞. The hot springs were amazing (wish we had more time there). Gabby our tour guide was very informative. Two thumbs 👍🏽 up for this tour and Gabby.
Francis was an amazing guide!

Money well spent! A beautiful day!

El Salvator is such a beautiful country! One of the best days I spent there was with my tour guide Gaby as we travelled through the colonial route. I absolutely adored strolling through the five small villages that were so colorful. As we drove, Gaby shared stories of the fascinating and sometimes dark history of the country. We also visited an adventure park where I had so much fun sliding down the rainbow slide! Then we did a captivating tour of a coffee farm and got to taste some that our plantation guide brewed in a traditional style in front of us. My favorite part of the day was at the end of the tour, relaxing with the locals in the pools of the thermal spa. I was so glad that I decided to book this tour. It was so enjoyable and well worth the money!
Great experience

Had a really great time - Gabby was an incredible guide that was very flexible with our needs. It was a small intimate group with 2 other wonderful ladies. The hot springs was particularly outstanding, don’t forget to pack your swimsuit and a towel! Also, if there’s an attraction not included in your tour be sure to ask about it and they probably will hook you up ! Would highly recommend :)
Best tour!
