Exploring Suchitoto

Exploring Suchitoto First, we will visit the Los Tercios waterfall with a beautiful view of Lake Suchitlan, where you will learn a bit about the history of how the lake was created in 1973. Then we'll head to the indigo workshop at Pájaro Flor, a place where you'll hear about the history of indigo in Suchitoto. You can take a dyeing class for an extra cost; The tour only includes a demonstration. Next, we'll visit the Center for Arts for Peace, a place where music courses are taught to young people to prevent violence. The place also has a museum and many beautiful artworks. Then we'll move on to San Martín Park, a site that has been renovated in recent years with a view of Lake Suchitlan. After that, we'll visit Santa Lucía Church and the central park. Lunch is optional at any of the restaurants in Suchitoto. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Alejandro Coto Museum, a very nice place full of history and art. The boat tour is optional. We'll finish the tour and return to San Salvador.

Lovely Day In Suchitoto
My guide was extremely informative about El Salvador in general and the places we visited. We had Cihuatan completely to ourselves! Suchitoto is a lovely city. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great Experience!
I had a fantastic time with my tour guide Osmaro! I was a solo traveler and was picked up directly from the airport and we headed to our first destination. Osmaro was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I learned so much about El Salvador. I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend who was teaching me about their country. I highly recommend!!
