    You will begin your day by checking in at our admissions window, and most people wish to do their African Bush safari first. Then you are welcome to walk to the top of the park, or take a ride on the shuttle to get to the shows at the top of the park.

It was really fun to see and interact with so many wonderful animals. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. There’s a lot to do and see at the park and we were entertained from opening to closing. Highly recommended.

Love the park. See the animals up close and learn with animal encounters. Readily walkable but there is an easy to use shuttle.

I had to drive from Show Low Arizona via Phoenix as a result we were unable to get there before 4:00 basically The lady at the counter was so pleasant she made the experience absolutely worth it we were able to get tickets for a future date, I'll make sure I leave in time to get there Thank you again for your absolutely amazing kindness it was a pleasure to visit your business

One item on my bucket list was crossed off. I heard a lion roar!! I saw up close a giraffe. He blew his breath on me. All memories I will never forget. Great birthday weekend. The owners were fantastic, they helped my sisters and I tremendously.

Well, skip the zoo. The kids and adults were in total awe. Go early in the morning. Tiger splash kinda disorganized, kinda scary. But, they pulled it off. Best to walk, walk, walk. Lots to see. Best nature walk ever.

The animal’s were awesome. Liked the trolley rides. Like all their shows. Snakes were beautiful and had a great walk seeing all the animals best of all was feeding the giraffes
A wonderful ecological animal park

The Serengeti bus ride was absolutely brilliant. The driver/guide had just the right personality to be working in this setting. The whole park was amazing. We walked around a couple of times and each time different animals were either visible or gone somewhere to hide. If I had anything to say in the vane of mediocrity, it would be about the one and only food van on site. Although they pumped the food out quickly, the food was so so. Another van would have helped. They were extremely busy. BUT that did not take away from the great experience we had over the day.

The park seems to be showing issues due to probable low attendance/lack of funding because of covid. Equipment, signs and facilities are run down and in need of replacement. One of the lunch vendors was closed and the one that was open had very limited meal choices due to equipment issues. And, a day visit in summer is quite hot. Also, as we've found with most animals, they tend to come out early in the morning or near sunset so many are sleeping during the park open hours. It did help when park employees started feeding them, as more came out and were visible.

Very informative. The Tiger Splash was a hit with all my grandchildren, but they really enjoyed all the animals. Clean, staff was very helpful and very patient.
Be prepared for waiting

There was a lot of waiting involved in this experience. Despite having purchased tickets online, we still had to wait in line for wristbands when we arrived. Then, we had to wait in line for shuttles which take you to the actual park - the entry is quite far from the area that is walkable and houses most of the animals. This is alright, however, we just weren't expecting it. We have a 21-month-old child, which means that our kiddo really only has about a two hour window for being outside and walking around - we used most of that up waiting in line. We didn't even get to see 99% of the place. Our child loves to go to the Phoenix Zoo, which is walkable immediately. I'd certainly recommend this experience for people with older children.

We loved how all efforts appear to be directed at supporting the animals and their natural habitats....the animals seemed very happy and content. Never been so close to the wild animals. Our 10 yr.old thought Out of Africa was more awesome than the Grand Canyon!
