Does not get much better than a tour guide like Ruby. I had a measly 15hr layover in Shanghai so booked in for a solo tour! Well flexible, fun, knowledgeable, we laughed all day and seen all the bits i wanted to see!

I’m super enthusiastic about this experience. Freya was a very well informed guide which brought my boyfriend and I around the city, exploring the highlights. The driver caught us at the airport and we met the guide in the city centre. The guide suggested us typical dishes, like gyoza and noodles, which were amazing. I suggest everyone to take part at this trip for a short stopover in Shanghai: we spent around 8/9 hours in the city, but you can manage it with the guide.

Our guide Annie was very professional and knowledgeable. Despite our late flight we managed to do a complete tour of the city. we also tried the food recommended by the guide, the steamed dumplings were simply divine.

I booked this tour for my 7 hr layover, which (after transit approval and with leaving some space to be back at the airport in time) only left about 2 hrs for the tour. I am still so happy I booked it and would recommend it to anyone to do the same! Annie met me in the city center and did her very best to show me as much as possible in the little time we had. On top she made sure I feel very welcome in conversation and also well fed with the best dumplings in town. Thank you!!! I would absolutely do it again :)

The best, stress free, way to spend a day exploring Shanghai when you have a long layover at Shanghai Pudong (PVG) airport. Our guide, Sunny, arranged for super simple airport pick-up and drop-off so no worries about coordinating transport in or out of the city and potentially missing flights or trying to navigate on our own with jet lag! We were also able to enjoy carefree exploring without luggage due to the very reasonably priced baggage storage area in the airport. We started in Old Town - beautiful AND yummy! Moved on to the river to get a spectacular view and photos of the Bund. If Sunny wanted to, I’m sure she could make a living as a photographer! We are so grateful to have photos of our adventures with everyone included. A quick pit stop at the People’s Park to respectfully view the matchmaking corner before heading to the French concession for lunch. After lunch we went to the AP Plaza for some souvenirs from the worlds greatest knock off market. Fun to negotiate with the savvy shop keepers and leave with beautiful bounty. Then on to an authentic dinner followed by viewing the city lights from the opposite side of the river from earlier in the day. Hopped in the shuttle back to the airport in plenty of time to pack our gifts into luggage and arrive at check-in with time to spare! All logistics were smooth and professional. Sunny is a charming, knowledgeable guide and we’ll definitely recommend her to all of our friends!

Exciting and full of history

We had a day long lay over me and my wife in Shangai, China. And we decided to do a day tour. Glad we did. We were picked up at the airport by Mr. Wang, and then introduced to our tour guide Lily - who is extremely knowledgeable in Chinas history from architecture builders to the city's history. We were shown around all the historical land marks and a amazing Buddhist temple - so much history and so many picture perfect spots. She also took us to a authentic local food restaurant - AMAZING - finger licking food. Definitely motivated myself and wife to come back and do additional tours with Lily - so much more to cover. Thanks again Trip Advisor for linking us with them.

Summer was a great organiser and Lily was a fantastic host. We were picked up from the airport on time and dropped off to Lily in the city who provided us with a great tour! She personalised it for us and recommended many fabulous attractions and historic sites. We had a brilliant local lunch together. We code to get the Meglan train from city to airport as it’s super fast and only took 6 minutes. Overall a wonderful experience! Smiths xx

Incroyable escale ! À faire absolument

Super expérience. Nous avions 14 heures d’escale entre deux vols. Le chauffeur nous a récupéré à l’aéroport pour aller retrouver notre guide. Le guide a été à notre écoute, il était très souriant et heureux de nous montrer les plusieurs facettes de Shangaï. Nous avons pu échanger et il a répondu à toutes nos questions. Il a adapté la journée en fonction de nos demandes (nous voulions acheter un drone, il nous a amener dans les boutiques dédiées). Nous avons pu goûter pleins de produits locaux que ce soit au restaurant et dans les marchés. Merci également au chauffeur qui a été très patient et bienveillant. Nous n’aurions jamais pu faire autant de choses si nous n’étions pas passé par un guide. C’est un gain temps énorme ainsi qu’une expérience très rassurante où on peut se laisser porter. Merci encore à toute l’équipe de nous avoir fait découvrir Shangaï en quelques heures ! :)
