This was the highlight of our siem reap trip. Sorya taught us to make the most delicious 4 course lunch with authentic recipes from the region. She took us to the local food market to learn about various different foods we don’t have at home. The flavors of the dishes were amazing. But the best was Sorya. She had an unbelievable smile and was so enjoyable to meet and learn from her. Thank you Sorya. Highly recommended cooking class if you want to eat like the locals in a fantastic and clean environment.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time during the class. We really enjoyed the market visit in the morning before starting to cook 4 different dishes later. The food was delicious and the ladies giving the class were great fun. Good vibes and amazing food, what else do you want? Sorya sent us the different recipes by Whats App after the class. We highly recommend! Jon and Christel
Great cooking class in Siem Reap

We has an amazing time at this cooking class in Siem Reap. The class included transportation (tuk tuk) to and from our hotel, which was great. We were each able to select 4 dishes to make, which allowed us to try a variety of food. The food was delicious! Plenty of water was supplied which was needed as the class is outside and it was very hot. We strongly recommend this fun experience.
A must do in Siem Reap even if you never cooked!

Honestly, this was one of the best cooking classes we have ever been! We were travelling through Southeast Asia, and visited 6 countries. This experience sticked out! The whole thing was amazing. The Tuk Tuk pick up at the hotel, meeting our guide at the local market, where we tried some things and learned about ingredients, then the cooking class itself! First, the facilities are beautiful, not sure what I was expecting, but it was amazing. The "chef" was great, super patient with the less skilled, and the team worked together to make us enjoy every bit of it! And the taste of the food in the end... hummmm! I can't recommend it enough! 100 stars for you!
A nice, chill way to spend an afternoon

Our teacher Svonne (sp?) was delightful and very sweet. It was a lovely setting and everything went smooth. The short market tour after the class was a great insight to the local culture.
Good food and fun

Sorya and the entire team were so lovely and welcoming. We were a small group of 4 people, so we had a very private experience and very much enjoyed the cooking, eating, and company.
Khmer cooking class

The cooking class was all very organized and everything went smoothly. We both really enjoyed it. The most memorable part perhaps was seeing the local markets. We also met some great people! However, some of the dishes weren't as flavourful as we have had in restaurants, but this could certainly be down to our cooking skills! Would recommend the class.
A delectable experience

This was a very well organised class, our host was delightful, organising our group very efficiently, explaining the steps clearly and the meal produced was delicious.
Wonderful Cooking Class!
Julia_G, Apr 2024
We had a fabulous time! We got to choose the dishes we would like to cook off a menu, three or four options for most dishes. The food was absolutely delicious and Yvonne was so lovely - we ended up buying one or two bits so we can try them again at home! Really liked that they had their own gardens to grow some of their own produce, particularly their mushrooms which were so interesting! Would 100% recommend this trip!
Great Cambodian Cultural Experience

Our teacher Sorya was fabulous, personable and charismatic. We made 8 dishes and she orchestrated it all with grace. Her knowledge of fruits, vegetables and all things cooking is amazing. Her tour of the market was fun. The home has a beautiful abundant garden. I highly recommend this class if you want to delve into local culture. We are so happy we had this cooking experience. It stands out in all the activities we've done in our Asia travels.
Very nice experience

Loved the experience! The group was bigger than 6 people but it didn’t bother while cooking because there are more teachers. The recepies are very fun and gnummy! Highly recommended.
Amazing and delicious experience!

What a great experience! I had so much fun, thank you, Sorya! I booked this experience at the very last minute and they were able to accommodate me. Sorya is very friendly and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of very interesting things about the food, the market, and life in Siem Reap. For the class itself: You cook 4 dishes (that you pick from a selection of possibilities) and you get to do all the steps yourself. It's very hands on! The result was really delicious and very filling. They also provide water and steamed rice to accompany the meal. The place itself has very clean facilities and a beautiful herb garden that you get to tour. Wonderful!!!
Every visitor should do this small group experience

Superb experience Choice of which 4 plates you want to cook. Small groups, and helpful friendly people You are shown around the kitchen garden and taken to a small local village market where ingredients including fruit and vegetables that were a mystery to us. No selling, truly authentic and great teaching, sharing of information in a small home village environment set up cleanly and basically just the way you would want to traditionally learn, and recipes included to try at home. A must for every visitor!!!
Fun and Informative

Great fun - relaxing way to spend a few hours and after cooking our four dishes, we got to eat our efforts! Tour of the food market shows you how the locals shop and the standout was the fish stall - incredible range of fresh fish to choose from. Recommended.
Cook amazing local food in a garden setting in small classes
Ken_G, Mar 2024
You get picked up at your hotel by tuktuk. The school is a beautiful space surrounded by mango trees and gardens that grow the herbs and vegetables you use to cook. You start with a tour of the local market with the instructor. You get to prepare a four course meal, with three choices for each course. The people are wonderful and the classes are small

We had a great time at our cooking class. We were picked up by tuktuk and taken to a local market were we tried a sweet donut. We were then taken to the house and given a menu to pick from a range of dishes. I don't know how Sorya was able to remember all the dishes but she was super helpful. Our dishes came out looking and tasting amazing. Thanks so much for having us.
Delicious and fun!

Fun in a Khmer Kitchen
Jonathan_H, Mar 2024
Had a wonderful experience cooking lunch and then eating together, talking about Cambodian cuisine and a quick visit to the nearby market. The food tasted great and it was nice that everyone could customize their menu by choosing which dishes they wanted to make. A fun activity and a break from tours around Siem Reap. Definitely recommend.
An amazing experience

Easy to book, confirmed very quickly. Picked up by tuk tuk 🛺, a pleasant ride seeing proper Cambodian life. The cooking experience was first class and was such fun. Would definitely recommend as a highlight of the holiday, even if you can't cook, they are extremely friendly and helpful. Send recipes on to us via WhatsApp

This Khmer cooking class was a great experience! Sorya is a good teacher and keeps things fun. I’ve gotten on a kick of taking a cooking class in every country I visit. If you’re a foodie and like cooking at home, it’s a great way to remind yourself of your travels.
