Overview
A short way out of Kampot, Bokor Hill Station started its life as a French colonial mountain resort in the 1920s. After its heyday in the swinging ‘60s, it became one of the last hideouts for the Khmer Rouge, and mostly fell into ruin, until a new casino was built in 2012. This guided scooter tour focuses on the abandoned palaces, temples, and churches, and Bokor’s intriguing and tragic history.
