Me and My partner went for the afternoon course and we absolutely loved it! Samda was a brilliant guide, helping us with booking and was patient while we navigated our way to the pick up point. We hiked to the course from Sandy Beach and were greeted straight away with a bowl of fresh jackfruit and a fresh coconut to drink. It was just us on the course that day and it was great to chat to Samda. We learnt so much about the coconut oil making process and it was also great to get such an insight into other aspects of Khmer culture.
Everyone spoke great English so communication wasn't a problem.
In a truly rural and beautiful setting the course was a great way to spend an afternoon and we both came away with our own bottle of fresh coconut oil! If you're on Koh Rong Samloen, dont hesitate to book this for a wholesome and cool afternoon activity. Big Up Samda.
