CJ is the man! He was so knowledgeable about the island and our hike was beautiful. Snorkeling at the end of the trail was just icing on the cake. We'll definitely book again next time we're on the island.

We did snorkel but with no help or guidance from our guide. One member of our party was having trouble with her mask and snorkel, but our guide just swim across the water without looking back, and was never near as us at all when we were in the water. We were really shocked by this and disappointed he didn’t show us where the best snorkeling was. On the hike he tried to answer questions we asked but didn’t have an agenda for showing us anything except a termite nest. Not worth the money. I am guessing some of the guides would be better than the one we had. We even question whether he was just filling in for a friend and wasn’t even really an employee as the tour he gave us did not begin to match the description on your website.

Owner and operator here, that does not sound like islandbuddy at all! please reach out to me at 340-643-4148 as I am eager to make this right. These tours should be personable and informative in a fun tropical setting. All of our guides are local to the islands and are extremely knowledgable both on and off the water, our main guide CJ is absolutely one of a kind. We are a small company and giving great customer service is something I feel is important to us. Im really sorry you felt this way and I encourage you to reach out to me.

Great economical fun excursion. CJ was an excellent guide. Wonderful hike through the woods to warm up and then a magnificent beach to snorkel and view amazing sea life. GREAT!

This trip was amazing! The guides were super friendly, knowledgable and helpful! Spencer and CJ were awesome. They told us all about the nature of the island as well as some history. When it came to snorkeling, they showed us so many cool things! Can’t recommend this excursion enough.

This was a fantastic half-day hike and snorkel with some fantastic guides. Spencer, Ethan, and Jack were a great group of guys who made the activity fun and interesting. My group loved this activity and talked about it for days afterwards. Thank you guys for a fantastic start to our week in St. John.

Our guide, Spencer, was wonderful! Spencer was professional , friendly, and informative. He explained exactly what we’d be doing and the approximate time the tour would take. He guided us at our own pace. The trail was interesting and several features were explained very well. The snorkeling was fabulous. Honeymoon Beach is beautiful and well outfitted with restrooms, showers, a boutique, etc. We saw several varieties of fish and got to see Kaneel Bay (the unfortunate ruins actually) where we stayed 33 years ago. We would take this tour again and request Spencer!

Our guide, Harrison, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the environment we hiked through, and then when we went snorkeling. He kept the pace of both the hike and the swim at a perfect tempo. Highly recommended.
