Experience of a lifetime
claire_r, May 2024
Every element was just fantastic- the friendly knowledgeable guide, the stunning location and facilities, the food at lunch and the chocolate making. Experience of a lifetime!
Perfect activity

We booked this as part of our honeymoon holiday and it was fabulous from start to finish. Knowledgeable, friendly staff and we felt truly looked after throughout with lunch, refreshments and even peppermint towels after our rainforest walk. The estate is also just beautiful. Highly recommend this tour
Making chocolate bar from beans

Seeing where chocolate comes form and then making it yourself gives you a whole new view of chocolate!
Nice, but the shop prices are out of the market
Paolo_P, Apr 2024
Nice overview of the process. I would have expected some more detail about the fermentation and the “real” way of making chocolate. Nice experience of making you own bar. Prices in the shop way above any reasonable level. I have not seen anyone buying anything
Ok but could be so much better

Bean to Bar Tour - Great concept and making the choc bar was good fun but… tour group was far to big (about 30 people) the rainforest walk to plantation was all of 100m to see just a couple of cacao trees with no option to see harvest, drying, processing etc. I really wanted to see the full process! For a site that pushed its eco credentials v disappointed to see single use plastics (spoons in making choc, dressing pots etc), air con blasting in loos with doors open, not much green energy present (why not solar on all shed roofs). Experience was really saved by our guide (Veronique) who injected her passion and personality otherwise felt it was really not great value and could (should?) have been so much more
Ok, but an expensive day out.

Tree to Bar was “ok” but calling it an experience is a bit of marketing. The talk about cocoa farming was interesting but the scale of the trees they took is round felt more like a garden than a plantation. Equally some of the features described were 2-3 mins of the talk. Chocolate making was fun and food was nice but it was a lot of money for what you got. Had it been £20 less I’d have said it was good or excellent.
Worthwhile Memorable Experience

Very good experience. Tree to bean was very informative and guides were knowledgeable. Making your own chocolate bar was great fun. Lunch was delicious. It was incredibly hot, so some fans in the chocolate making and lunch areas would have been lovely.
A must for any chocolate lover

As big chocolate fans, it was increrdible to learn about the prroduction of cacao all the way into the production of chocolate. Our guide was really funny and shared so much interesting information with us. Rabot estate is so beautiful, and walking through the farm was so lush and colorful. We also got to taste the cacao pulp, which was really fun and absolutely delicious. Later getting to make our own chocolate bars was so fun, but also really hard. Really makes you appreciate chocolate!
Great Time

We had a fantastic time on the tree to bar experience. Great tour guides. Would definitely recommend. Also spotted our first hummingbird whilst walking through the rainforest trail. 😁
Amazing and unique experience!

Amazing staff! Very well organized. Super clean and beautiful property. The nature was unmatched. The chocolate making delivered. Super souvenirs. We also had lunch included, and it was delicious (chicken roti was awesome).
Great experience and great fun

Our guide was informative and funny - he had to look after a large group of around 50 visitor's from different parts of the world and from young kids to older adults . The experience was great fun
Don’t sleep on this experience

From the start to finish this was well worth the price. Both my wife, son (age 14) and I loved the history, food and experience. Don’t sleep on this experience.

Everyone with Project Chocolate was so friendly and helful. They were all very informative and the facilities and Rainforest were absolutely beautiful. We will definitely do this again when we return to beautiful St. Lucia.
Wonderful way to spent a morning!
Andra_B, Mar 2024
First and foremost, our tour guides throughout this experience were truly great! We debated between this and just the chocolate making, but getting the whole story with a tour of the seederie and the trees was definitely the right choice (plus lunch included!). The chocolate bar making was a wonderful experience, we had a lot of fun and again the guide made sure people were enjoying themselves. Wrapping it all up with lunch was fantastic and really delicious! Overall a really enjoyable and rememberable experience.
One of the most amazing tours in all of St. Lucia
Robin_J, Mar 2024
This was a phenomenal experience. We went through the groves where they grow the beans, even though it was scorching hot, the trees and breeze made it very comfortable. The tour guide always stops to ensure everyone is well hydrated and under the shade. There is quite a bit of walking through steep hills, so make sure you have your walking shoes. The chocolate making was another whole amazing experience altogether, you literally get to make chocolate through a very rudimentary process. Even though it's a long process, the time flies by because the tour guides give a lot of background of chocolate. You're treated very respectfully and the tour guides do care about you're experience. They genuinely want to help as much as possible so you can ask questions and add comments. You definitely get the wonderful hospitality of St. Lucia here. There was quite a bit of people with us, probably around 30+ folks, so it's a very packed tour. Make sure you have sunscreen!

Tree to bar experience is unique, fun and delicious
John_B, Mar 2024
the most memorable part was working to create our own bar of chocolate. It was surprisingly hard work grinding the nibs, but very satisfying in the end. And it was fun to work hard with all the other guests.
