Amazing tour, would recomend! 10/10 Our guide Salome was so nice and caring. She told us a lot about Kutaisi and took care of everyone! The views at Martveli canjon where gorgeous and caves were impressive, took bote rides on both places - did not regret. Best wishes - latvain couple.

Must book trip for 3rd day, beautiful caves and boat trip

Long day for not a lot

This is a very long trip from Tbilisi with a very early start. There are a couple of comfort stops. After the long drive we had to wait for about 45mins before we could enter the cave. The boat ride was short and, again, we had to wait a long time to get on it. We ordered lunch whilst driving but when we got there we had to wait again and then it was chaos - wrong food, missing food, being overcharged. The canyon is beautiful and if you choose one boat trip it should be here. However, again, it is a very short boat ride. Time at the canyon was limited and there isn't far to walk. Our guide, Anna, was very lovely. All in all seemed a massively long day which was mostly sitting in the van.

Honestly where do I begin, I read all the reviews about this tour being great and especially about Salome being amazing. Normally you read these with a pinch of salt, but nope! And my oh my, Salome's probably the nicest and friendliest person I've ever met! It genuinely felt like travelling with my cousin. Salome was always trying to make us laugh, helping us decide/order food, taking care of us like we were her family. Top it all off, she'd inconspicuously take candid photos and videos of each us all for all the memories! She sent us all +100 photos/videos each! Absolutely blown away, so much value for money and the Canyons were mesmerising. Just book it, honestly

Great way to see Georgia outside of Tbilisi. Salome was a warm and welcoming guide who could speak to any questions posed. The boat rides are dependent on the water level (recent rains) and the tour involves 6-8 hours of time in a van- FYA

Highly recommended tour

We had an incredible experience exploring Martvili caves with guide Salomi. Salomi's extensive knowledge brought the cave's history to life and her photographic sense to be appreciated (she captures most of the candid moments and share the photos). Like cherry on cake we had Mr. Abelson as driver. His skilled driving and music playlist made the long journey comfortable. They made us feel how good the Georgian hospitality is. Highly recommend this dynamic duo for a fantastic tour!

A great tour with a great guide

Ana was our tour guide and her energy, knowledge and genuine nature made this tour experience one to remember. She socialized with all tour participants and met everyone’s needs, as she helped bring the group together with engaging conversation and even dancing during lunch. It was raining when we arrived at the canyon and Ana’s positive spirit made it feel like it was better because of it. Thanks for the memories Ana!

Fun day in nature

Really nice trip. The canyon is very nice, definitely do the boat tour as it is the most beautiful part of the tour. Prometheus cave was also really nice and the biggest cave I've ever visited. Our guide was super knowledgeable, they did a provate tour for us in the cave and spent the whole drive teaching us about different aspects of Georgian culture (language, geography, sport, history). We went in August and it was incredibly hot and humid in the canyon, so if you can, consider visiting when the weather is cooler .

Salomi is an amazing human and super warm, friendly and helpful. I generally don’t give tip until I am satisfied but this was my first tipping experience in Georgia. Salomi has delivered more than she was supposed to in ensuring best travel experience. She has knowledge and tips about Kutausi so well ( her hometown) that you can easily trust her instructions and guidance. She has taken so many pictures of me ( me being a photo freak) without even me asking her. The canyons and caves tour was for sure my best tour experience in Georgia. In general budget friendly Georgia is my first preference compared to other tour operators. All the best Salomi, I wish more people could share their reviews with her.
