Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We booked the sailing trip as a birthday present for our 60 year old dad. The experience was great from start to finish - well for most of us. First, I had few questions prior to our trip and I also wanted to inform the company that this sailing trip would be very special to us because of our dad's birthday as some companies want to know beforehand. It was so easy to communicate with the staff via email at all times and the feeling only got better when we arrived at the harbour. The staff greeted us so well and our sailor was perfect. Windy Tenerife did make our sailing a little bumpy so some of my family members got seasick. The sailor really did his very best by trying to direct the boat from the waves and took real good care of the sick ones when needed. At the same time he did his best to be quick enough to hand over beers to the rest of us that did not get sick and wanted to have a good time despite all - lol - he really did a lot for us and I can't thank him enough. He also tried his best to find whales for us to see and succeeded!!! So cool!When we finally arrived at the harbour they brought out a cake for dad and he left the boat extremely happy. I highly recommend this company and will most definitely look for them when I visit Tenerife again.

Fantastic captain (Guy), made everyone feel welcome and explained the trip well. Was very respectful of the animals, not getting too close, turned the boat off to allow us to sit and watch in a peaceful setting. Good spot for swimming included as well as ample refreshments provided!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. We saw pilot whales and even some sharks!! The sandwiches were nice but not loads of snacks provided, lots of drinks available though!

Amazing trip with a knowledgeable as fun captain, highly recommend! We were a group of 4 girls and there were other 4 people on board and despite a windy and cloudy weather, we got to see loads of wales and dolphins! Captain Maximilian was very accommodating and looked after us even after one of our girls felt seasick and he was considerate of the animals and did not swim too close.

Plentiful whales delight

Brilliant trip. Saw several pilot whales which were amazing. The refreshments were plentiful, water, sandwich and fizz, choice of beer and Fanta or coke too. The host was very friendly, polite where you felt safe. Snorkelled before heading back to the harbour. I’d definitely recommend this trip as I felt it was good value for money and only 11 others on board.

The whole experience was extremely enjoyable and had a great time on the boat would recommend whole experience. Dolphins we’re all around the boat and the captain was very very good.

It was a beautiful trip and incredible to see the bottlenoses swimming. The captain said they were bottlenose whales, but after reading it sounds like they were more likely bottlenose dolphins or a different type of whale because the water would have been too warm for bottlenose whales. I found the captain amusing, but he definitely seemed annoyed by us as guests even though everyone seemed polite to me. More commentary and a friendlier attitude from him and the woman who took our tickets would have gone a long way! I notified them of an allergy to gluten with advance notice—they did not offer an alternative lunch. Overall a beautiful tour despite lacking in hospitality. The other guests were lovely and warm.

Great experience at the ocean

We had a very exciting and great sailing trip with our lovely Captain Guy. We saw dolphins and pilot whales. 🐳 After snorkeling in the sunset, we rescued a native bird (pardela) together. Our captain has a big heart for animals and the ocean. We‘ve made great memories and would book it again! ⛵️ thanks for this unique experience! 👍

As I walk with crutches this biat was not really suitable as it was difficult to climb over the main sail runners the time before the other boat did not have this problem had to ask for water no drinks offered until at swimming stop saw plenty whales abd 2 turtle's

Lovely trip with knowledgeable captain. Only 8 of us on board. Boat lovely and vlean. Lunch provided. Saw whales, folphind and turtles. Only complsint was no lufe hacket gor our saughter (age 7). Would recommend

We had the most incredible day out. The captain Jose and Juan were so welcoming and friendly. Great with children and the afternoon was just incredible. Worth every single penny and I cannot recommend it enough!

Saw Whales and Dolphins - seas were bumpy and captain iffy!

We were keen to do this activity as our daughters wanted to get out and see the whales and go snorkel with fish. On arrival at the harbour, my wife and I both felt a little corralled through the experience. The person who greeted us on the pier could have been more welcoming and a little less “tick all 11 here”. We were welcomed with a glass of bubbly which was nice but once out of the harbour the ride got bumpy so to stay well our bubbly went overboard!. We were topside and thankfully didn’t get sea sick though others succumbed! Nothing that could have been avoided by the tour but our captain “Anchor” could have been more engaging with us as passengers throughout the journey. We were lucky to see a nice pod of pilot wales and then some dolphins. The boat then motored along to an anchorage for swimming, we jumped in and that was hard work just to stay near the boat as the boat rose and fell in the swells. Oddly captain Anchor went below deck so wasn’t observing us in the sea, and it could have gotten dangerous. Also apparently earlier the board supply of masks and snorkels were lost overboard unfortunately. We also could have been warned about the danger of climbing aboard the boat as both my daughters pinched their fingers quite badly between the floating ladder and boat but the captain wasn’t nearby to assist or warn of this danger. We then motored back slowly without any commentary about the views, which would have made the journey just a little more interesting. So three stars for seeing the animals, the sea was the sea, but the captain could have been better and more aware of the passengers needs.

Great experience, our guide Ancor was lovely and was happy to answer any questions we had. Saw both wales and dolphins in the wild which is so much nicer than going to the zoo! Could have done with a bit more lunch for the price we paid (I also specified vegetarian when booking but wasn’t catered for). Otherwise I would definitely recommend for the experience, and as it’s a small boat to bring anti-sickness tablets!!

Managed to see both whales and dolphins! The tour guide was amazing and very informative. The best part overall was the swimming it was absolutely lush and topped off the whole trip!

Dani the captain was very nice and informative! The boat was lovely and we saw so many pilot whales!! We stopped off for some snorkelling at a lovely little bay which was really nice!! Unfortunately they hadn’t prepared any vegetarian lunch even though this was requested at point of booking and we didn’t sail at all which was disappointing Still a very good morning out!! Would have been 5 stars if we sailed even with no lunch!!

Inflexible and poor customer service

The boat was booked but unfortunately due to weather we were unable to sail. We were at that point offered a refund or to swap to another day. We had a flight booked home Saturday evening but we were able to work around the Saturday morning sailing so we took that. Unfortunately having realised that the boat would surpass our air bnb check out time we asked if we move to the afternoon session. This was rejected and ignored and ultimately we couldn’t go on the boat. I’m disappointed with the customer service having not received a reply or a form of flexibility given that we adjusted where we needed to. This was an expensive thing to book and I would have appreciated a little better customer service.

Amazing Trip, Amazing Captain!

We had a fantastic 3 hours with Captain Guy! He was professional yet good fun and had amazing knowledge of the pilot whales and dolphins that we saw. It’s a case of put in what you want to get out of the trip. My girlfriend and I were chatty to Guy and he was great to talk to. We had a lovely swim in a beautiful bay and saw all the dolphins and whales we could have hoped for! Would certainly recommend! Captain guy smashed it!
